I said largely un-posable. That's not to say there aren't some as you illustrated. In fact I've seen several Devys that can't even hold up the weight of their arms. There is diminishing returns on stability when you build a large figure out of plastic.

That looks better. Guess it was just the low quality images making it look bad before. Not keen on that purple. Needs to be darker, a little less saturated, and shifted a little ways toward blue. Not keen on the colored elbows though.

Agreed. Was a great design choice. No idea why they decided to change it.

 

That's what happens when you move the shoulders wrongly. There's a specific method with Zeta combiners where you pull the shoulder out to rotate. Don't do that you shred the joints.

Do it right and you have shoulders that can maintain all that weight in a handstand....as shown above.

 

I also wish they’d kept the car shells for the arms but cest la vie...still looks good over all

I guess it's too bad Zeta isn't making Menasor then because XTB can't even get the shoulders right on the actual Stunticons.

These pics look muuuuuuuuuuuuch better than the others. G2 really looks great! Glad that killed those color car matching stripes on the arms/shoulders of Menasor. They looked horrible. Like a child with a marker colored them in.

I'm also glad they killed the shells on the arms. What's the point of a combiner team if the arm bots are useless, un-needed, and vestigial in combined mode? That's not G1 accurate. Just build a big Menasor bot that is a standalone figure and nothing more in that case. That does not separate in to individual bots and has great articulation, G1 looks, and pose-ability. Some company will probably do this like Furai etc.

 

Best vote with your wallet then and walk away. Jobs a good 'un!

That said you're the one bringing up issues with Devastator, I'm just giving you info on how to avoid it.....

 

How big is combined mode again? Not much smaller than DX9's if I remember correctly?
