Spoiler looks nice, better than Dx9 to me, but the size simply don't work with my display.

Because not always bigger means better :lol

One thing that amuses me about the XTB and FT Breakdowns is to have accurate badge placement, you're going to end up having to cut a symbol in half. Either on Crackup's chest, or Spoiler's hood.

Looks bigger in car mode at that angle too.

    Roll on Gravestone.

I agree on FT Spoiler. Spectacular bot... but a bit too tall in bot mode to fit in with the other official TT MP car bots.

I am thinking the increased height on FT Spoiler is a by-product of the overall consistent quality, design and engineering of the figure... the smooth ratchet joints, abundance of die cast metal parts, and extreme articulation. I think size puts constraints on doing all of these things well and consistently, and maintaining that level of consistency during production once a bot gets shrunk down to a certain size... smaller sin't always better... it's hard to do all of these things well and consistently the smaller the size becomes.

Good suggestion, but the tight joint is the swivel at the top of the leg (connects to hip). Its a pinned joint. Had I only known I needed a can of WD-40 before I went to transform him...

Right. I mean I wouldn’t mind random black shoulders lol. If they did make some replacements and released them with Gravestone that’d be great. Or if they upgraded them for the toy release I’d buy that instead. It’d have more stripes as well.

I could be wrong be I believe WD-40 is bad for plastics. I've been hearing "Shock oil" is better for plastics.

WD-40 isn't even a lubricant. It's a degreaser to remove gunk that inhibits motion, but it doesn't actually make things any smoother than their normal clean state.

Just checked, the shoulders on my G2 are still fine after all this time, and I flip them back and forth every so often, so they've definitely been exercised.

It's more about displacing water to keep things from rusting. I wanna say they used it in ICBMs but I'm probably misremembering and it was for something more mundane. Fun fact: the "WD" in WD-40 stands for "water displacement."

So they’re definitely better. Hope that can get fixed somehow.

In order to keep waxing philosophical on the pro and cons of manufactured liquid formulations, I can recommend Ballistol for the use of lubricating toys. It's a non-toxic spray that cleans and lubricates. Its common use is for maintenance and protection of firearms and knives/cutlery, but I tried some of it on my Tarn during the tight shoulder fiasco and it had no effects on the paint or plastic.

Maybe this is not the right place, but I was thinking... 3p are really catering to car guys, we are getting some alt modes that deserve to live in a diorama or a model collection.

TT gave us some nice cars too but XTB and some others are really on the next level... Kudos.
