He and A3U are the sponsors for this repaint, so it is indeed very possible.
That's the kind of thing that will have been tweaked. Nothing major. It's too late in the game for wholesale changes.
Not going to lie, the QC issues with the G1 version of dragstrip have made me decide to pass on the G2 version. I was looking forward to him too.
I'm not so sure - they've gone super quiet about their MM and have actually said that they're redesigning some things (e.g. minimizing the car shells in combined mode). I suspect they've gone through a major revision of their MM although obviously I could be wrong.
Not saying this will be the case, but the previous g2 versions were better quality than the G1 versions. Particularly with the problem areas on dragstrip very well documented, this should hopefully have better tolerances this time around.
Anyways, love the color scheme, very sleek! And nowhere near as gaudy as the previous two! Not that I don't like the colors on those, but it's nice that it's a paint job that will prolly be more universally liked.
I was kinda hoping we'd get Deadend first so I can have him displayed in both modes.
Agreed. Love the color scheme and it makes me regret to sell my two G2 last month.
Why are people so sell happy with their figures? The G2 guys haven't been out that long and the set wasn't done. Why did you buy them if you were just going to sell them before finishing the set? Not trying to be rude or anything - genuinely curious.
I know what they've said, we'll see in time but I suspect you're wide of the mark with Motormaster. Truth is he doesn't need anything major.
Well, to raise some money for other purchases. I look around my collection and the only thing I can sell at that point are some 'duplicates' including XTB G2 Stuticons, which I obtained from a trade. I though I may not be able to get the remaining ones, so.....................
Ah, that makes sense. I see it so often and never get the details behind it so it looks like people are buying figures, selling them, then buying the exact same figures and selling them again. Personally, I only buy a toy if I'm sure I want it forever and on the rare occasion that I replace one, I just can't be bothered to go to the effort of selling it (though I've never replaced a particularly valuable figure before - if I were replacing a figure and the old one could get me North of $200, I'd definitely make the effort to sell it).
the only g2 stunticon i'm interested in
It did happen to me twice in selling and buying the same figure though. The 1st time is MT Downbeat: I purchased it but never opened it. Decided to sell it as I don't like the grey plastic (from pics, how ironic?). Later regret and repurchase it when it is reissued. Turn out I am fine with the grey plastic after opening it. A lesson learned.
The 2nd time is FT Lupus. Purchased it when it was released, no so impressed at that time so I traded it. Repurchase it when FT announced their Mindwipe. I am so lucky as I picked it up before the price skyrocketed.
And NOW that MP-10 is ancient history, I'm hoping XTB will correct the time continuum, and block them sumbeaches out!
Same here. I often buy figures on impulse because they simply look cool or because I want the character and it's there- but then something more important to me drops and I end up selling the other(s) on to raise $ for the one I REALLY want, lol.
Dammit I had a notification. Thought there had been a reveal of Gravestone
Sweet, sweet black F1 racing car!!! Let the pre-order roll!!!
Huh? This thread had been active pretty much non-stop for quite a while but that post was the one that made you think a reveal happened?
Hopefully, this means that G2 Dead End will be the exclusive at TF con DC.
