Sure, it isn't far off in that they are all supposed to be Menasor. The frame with cars attached is just how Menasor works, but there will be lots of differences. They will be different sizes, XTB will have partial car shells (last we saw), there will be different detailing, and I assume different engineering.

You could say "I think (Insert 3P) and (Insert 3P) will be very similar in that (Insert any TF Character)" because they all draw on the same source. In reality, different companies making the same character all end up pretty different. Just look at all the Springers and Trailbreakers (etc).

 

But Earth is actually mostly blue on the outside, and all red on the inside. Like Russian politics

 

I thought the original gravestone was a beauty. Hopefully they are just tweaking combiner parts or making more sturdy, adding ratchets or things like that.

I am so ready for it and for the remaining G2 set.

 

Yeah, the last iBot update on it was that they "minimized" the partial shells. So they're still there, but apparently toned down quite a bit.

 

My GUESS is that the "shells" will now just largely consist of Oversized Tires, and very little, if any actual car parts.

As for Motormaster, I'm just hoping to see final colors. Though I'm praying for a Thigh Redesign!

And of course, like everyone else, desperately want to see a completed Menasor at TFCon!

 

The thighs were really the only thing IMO that made him look weird.

 

I didn't think the thighs were that bad looking. I dig Gravestones power lifter aesthetic he's got going on, hopefully we get to see what the toy looks like in vehicle mode.

It was the way they tapered in just above the knees. Gives the impression of rubber bands around his legs. It wasn't accurate to the cartoon or toy or anything and it just didn't look good so it was an odd choice.

 

Yeah it looks like he's a big bodybuilder, which I think is a pretty cool design choice. Personally I don't care if it's toy or cartoon accurate as long as it's fun to play with.

 

I think they're trying to match this up with MP-10. They have the same proportions and I think that's where the tapered thighs come from.
