Have they showed anything more than renders so far? Not trolling, honest question. And wasn't there the question of whether the combined mode is going to use fake shell former parts or not, or has that been answered?

 

I figure the "typical" comes from them appearing to randomly move off projects with nothing but renders out. How many years has it been since there has been real news on Abaddon or Locke for example. Toro is or was similar. I think we may have seen something physical but I couldn't find it with a quick search so I may be wrong. I believe all 3 were announced before Aegis, Paean, and Klaatu. Even if it isn't fully accurate, if those are the projects someone really cares about I can understand the frustration.

EDIT: We could reasonably put Dante in that category as well though I left it out initially due to it being further along (physically made) and we actually have a reason for it's delay (MP Inferno).

We saw 2 of them as test shots, though they never got added to the first post. I think it was Breakdown and Wildrider. I figure someone cares enough to track them down. I don't, but figured I'd post what to do to get them added for whoever does. Quote the post with the pics asking for them to be added, and tag Daimchoc with an @ at the beginning of his name. You could just ask Daim but no reason to make him do the work of finding the pics considering how much he already does.

 

Their toys look spot on like their renders. That's always been the case. In some instances, colors varied. I don't think that will be the case here.

Handpainted prototypes and renders. Xtb is awesome and have come a long way.

Disappointing there's no new news on either of the stunticons combiners.

 

Ok. So the original post was:

No images of combiner in over 60 pages, typical xtb. Not much reading between the lines needed there, straight to the point. If only he'd been bothered to look at the very first post he could have seen a fair few things but hey, typical xtb eh.

Let's all gloss over it though and bring up Ollie v1 or something though. That's always good for a laugh  

 

In the next post i wrote that they had only posted renders which is what they do. look at dante, look at abbadon, so yea typical XTB. Theres still not even a price or realease for the two they've shown already.There are no actual prototype images of the combined mode. The thread had basically gone dark until we started writing on it again.

 

Breakdown has a pre-order up. Breakdown and wild rider both had painted protoypes. Be lucky you hace renders for this one, dx9 only has a shadow.

And typical xtb lol, wheres berserk, cyclonus, scourge, outrider and hydra at?

 

Wasnt tryna to make this about FT but i have no doubt all those will be out this year. Where's Da vinci, abbadon, Dante etc...ft might actually release part of their combiner or even the whole thing before XTB releases this!

 

Dante and DaVinci both have PAINTED prototypes. If you actually followed the news you would know that they missed their window and put them on hold as to not draw the ire of Takara. Both are being released this year per iBot. The only figures that don't have RELEASED prototypes are Abaddon, Virtus, and Locke. There has been significant development on these figures beyond a simple render. While we all wish there was more news, the theft of the Monolith limbs led to the delay of those figures. XTB/KFC released more figures last year than any other company. FT did amazing as well. These companies have a massive backlog they are clearing out.

This ridiculously stupid idea that a company that has released a name and renders for a figure but now all of a sudden will not release a figure just because they don't have prototype images for you when you want them has got to stop. FT will release all of their figures and so will MT, MMC, DX9/UT and XTB/KFC. They are not on our schedule and you are not a special flower.

Abaddon was also past a render but they sent him back to the drawing board bc it was sk ugly.

Clear eligos. I think maybe one mkre not counting andras and transistor reissue.
