oh wow i'm loving this set:)  however, I hope x-transbots does something about the combined mode Shins that look way too narrow/skinny and throws of the near perfect G1 Toon Menasor. It's just renders, so maybe the prototype will look a little more proportionate overall.

DAMN! Im freaking glad its taller than the original height that was said 19+ inches is great news....THANK YOU @ibot

And I see some parts forming which personally Im glad about because its allowing the combiner mode portions looking good and the robot modes. This guy is going to have some good poses.

    Looking forward to seeing more!

I can see from this comparison that each door and wheel well should extend outward beyond the width of the underside of the car. Too bad X-trans didn't add a few extra parts for utilizing a slide out mechanism on each side.

Looking really good and cartoon accurate.
    Love the way motormaster look.

Is deadend and dragstrip bigger then breakdown and wildrider?
they look way bigger in arms then the other 2 in leg mode.
How many add-ons does this set have?
Because he really look like the cartoon, which the other cars just go on motormaster.
The arms that dragstrip and deadend are attached to and also the legs where breakdown and wildrider are attacked to.
They are not the limps itself, but are attached to a limp.

Hope the end product really look like this.

So there is x-transbot and dx9 stole the mold?
    Damn, which one to buy?

It's not for me, personally, as I prefer the modern IDW design.
I'm interested in seeing how the engineering in the individual figures and combined mode, though.
(How much parts forming would be involved in that combination?)

I'm also glad that G1 cartoon fans finally have a shot at an articulated G1 faithful Menasor.

Exactly! It's accurate for sure but who cares when that makes it ugly as all hell. I do like their Dragstrip but Motormaster looks more like he belongs
in the Playskool than Masterpiece line.
Maybe it will look better in hand than in renders so I'll keep an eye on it but as it stands this is "avoid at all costs."

The 539 Designs guy is freaking Mozart when it comes to design. I'm really surprised Takara or HASBRO hasn't hired that guy.

Looking at the combine mode, looks like Drag Strip and Dead end both split into two for the arm combine mode.

    EDIT-Nevermind you right @Prime135

You sure? If you ask me it looks like they ARE the arms, as in the actual robot bits pull apart at the waist to form the elbow and reshape into those boxes.

That's what I thought, they need to widen his legs a bit other than that it looks pretty good
