Turns out it's the one Weibo user that posts photos of a supposedly broken figure on the day of release for every popular 3P figure. He's moved up his game to make prototypes also look as bad as possible since the fake broken figure photos weren't enough to dissuade purchases.

 

Doesn't take Einstein to work that one out mate.

I think this Gravestone sucks. I hate it.
XTB needs to just scrap it and start a redesign of Motormaster and the combiner frame.
This thing is dumb looking and looks like it will be fragile due to the thin waist joint and the giant hunk of metal attached to it.

I don’t like the feet but anyone complaining about the arms being better on dx9/ft needs to check their eyes. The arms reach the knees on all 3... ft and dx9 have longer legs that’s all.

 

If you have a problem blame the figure, the guy was just showing off its articulation. Besides its just a testshot people need to calm down.

 

I'm getting Klaatu vibes off this Dragstrip.

I thought Klaatu was one of the best figures XTB ever did, and if the quality is like the previous stunticons, their dragstrip could surpass that. Its so damn sharp and clean.

 

So I would assume this should be the end of you posting in this thread right? Since you hate it. Are you going the Fans Toys route? Like it has been said, options are great. Who'd have thought we'd have one set of Stunticons let alone 3?

I personally like these ones. Toon accurate and scaled the way I like it. I think the Fans Toys look good too. Can't go wrong. Great time to be collecting these.

My opinion was based on everything I see now, and maybe that would change when I see the finished product, but given what I see, it looks bland and that's including proportions, detailing, and general structuring of everything. There are a lot of ugly transformation bits and crude looking edges. Noticing the same thing on dragstrips inner leg parts.

FYI this is a prototype and it looks anything but bland (to me)

So you agree that toon accuracy is blander than IDW figures. In that case it should have been obvious that calling a prototype bland could have many reasons for why I'd deem it so and not just because it's unfinished and a prototype, and yet you've gone on with this silly back and forth because, I guess my opinion troubles you so. G1 figures like XTB Andras are less bland to me, same with Sovereign, quakewave, etc. If you excuse bland G1 figures as just being more toon accurate, then hey, whatever works for you. We are just looking for different things from our toys. Anyway, I've said my piece on the figs. Enjoy, to whoever will enjoy these.

All I’ve said is that you’re just kind of just stating the obvious by saying an unpainted prototype is bland and not really contributing anything of value.. in fact, he first post was such an obvious observation that I had to check that you know it wasn’t painted yet, because otherwise it didn’t really make sense to point out the obvious like that..
