Heard from Toydojo today that they hope to have G2 Crackup available to order on their site the end of this week/beginning of next week.

 

Is ita Toy Dojo exclusive or will it be available everywhere? Will the other members get G2 repaints as well?

Oh, I have no idea if it'll be available anywhere else, I was just talking to them about an order, and asked if they had any G2 Crackups left over from the convention and that's when they said they'd have them up by the end of the week. I think someone posted saying they talked to toydojo at the convention about other G2 colors and they were told it depended on how much demand they saw for G2 Crackup.

 

How long did you have to wait for them to get back to you? I'm still waiting for a response from my email two weeks ago

Got my Flipout today. No problems at all peeling off the strip. The problem might not be as widespread as these three incidents make it seem..

 

That's good news.

It seems they may be producing both the regular color and the G2 color run of each car before moving to the next mold. If that's the case, it would seem unlikely they could deliver the last two by January.

Then Crackup G2 and Flipout

I like alternative facial expressions, especially happy or grumpy. Also, Crackup has about 3 now, so...

 

Staggered not stagnated. Stagnated is something completely different. It sounds plausible though, if G2 Flipout comes out roughly same time as Dead End then that's a pattern.

 

Gotcha... I thought you were implying that the included face isn't a good one.

 

G2 Crackup is TFCON LA (March 2019) exclusive, according to XTB Weibo.

It also said something about the next 2 cars coming out at in the 'lunar new year' - which i guess means Jan \ Feb 2019.

 

So we've gone from December, to January, to LNY which is early February, all in the span of a week. Talk about deadline shifts!  

Do you know if they're saying those will be coming out "at" LNY, i.e, before LNY break, or are they saying "in" the LNY (which means after the 4-6 week delay LNY causes to production and shipping)?
