Same, received mine and it looks like it will do the trick. I have no plans to transform MM from alt mode so I got the piece as a backup in case I do, but i can tell there is no reason to think the piece won't function as advertised. Thanks much @transformer_78

 

The method of holding on the leg bots is rubbish.

Well picked up mine and nothing happened. Surprisingly it didn't buckled at all.

So I transformed him to base mode which is pretty ehh as expected, and then got him to combined mode only referencing the transformation video once. I immediately noticed that his ankles were a lot looser and needed some screws tightened - now he seems to be back to normal.

I also got the accessory set and yeah, I'm somewhat regretting it. I actually like most of the Gravestone faces because of how spot on they are to specific scenes in the cartoon, and the blast effects. Although the biggest blast effect is ridiculously heavy given that it's not hollowed out. I also like Megatron's controller.

But I actually hate how he looks with the shells, and don't like the double-barreled car guns. I'm a bit surprised by that because I thought I'd like them more, but they don't attach particularly well and the ones for Breakdown and Dragstrip are obviously colored to match the toy releases. I may have to see if anyone wants to buy just the shells and car-mode guns...

 

the arm shells are not needed. personally the combiner looks fine without them

I hoped that the chest piece locks in instead of flopping around. That was probably a small design oversight

 

I can see the appeal of most of the expansion set but I really hate the gun combo looking like it was ripped from the end of a Power Rangers episode.

 

even transformission did a good job with the gun combo for their menasor. i don't mind the transformission menasor set.

XTB made a pretty lame attempt at it

 

ok, so I used the Molotow liquid chrome pen I purchased from my local hobby shop. I will need to patch up the remaining gaps to tidy it up. it's not perfect but the shiny chrome makes it easier on my eyes

 

I wouldn't say rubbish because when they're pegged on they're solid. It's just a bit frustrating getting them to that point.
