The only worry I have is that they might go weak after a while. I hope they thought about that.

If it's a deliberate decision of sort I suggested, I'd have thought so. If they just though that friction would be enough, then there's an inherent risk they weaken.

If they went into it planning for friction, I'd expect them to consider the impact of their decision.

I understand. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I hope they planned for it.

That’s fine. I actually do agree and prefer that regular mp figures don’t have ratchets. Especially in the legs (A stances).

But for me I feel combiners are better off with them because of the extra support. All my toyworld/zeta combiners have ratchets in just about every joint in the legs. I’ve never had an issue posing them. If anything there’s some give in between the teeth of the ratchet where once the figure is settled into a pose it stays and the joint won’t move beyond that point.

The issue with no ratchets in a combiner is that the tolerances can loosen up due to use. I’m worried, though I’m a pose and display guy that eventually my menasor may take a shelf dive because it’s not “locked” into the pose.

Τheir Arkose is a prime example of XTB friction joints not working on the entire leg. I really hope they did plan/worked οn it. But in the end only time can tell.

The feet aren't fully folded out in those photos, by the way.

Finally got mine together. That transformation was a slog but I love the final result. Joints on the legs of mine are super tight but he is definitely back heavy like some folks have said.

The accessory pack is definitely a luxury and 100% unnecessary. I think the shells look cool but he looks great without them.

He should be careful with that sword though. A little too much pressure and he'll have a camel toe.

Scale is all wrong. 49cm is way too short, it's just a big chug bot... needs to be way taller than that

That looks bang on! Superion could even be half a head taller and it wouldn't look remotely strange.

Really good to see that comparison having already seen Zeta Bruticus and TW Devastator with him.

I’m waiting on mine to come in from ShowZ and hopefully the accessory kit will be not far behind. But with all of these pictures I find myself slightly interested in how you all decorate your homes.

Could anyone please show how those extra faces look like? Thinking about which version of springer I should get, only those extra face sculpt make me interested.

Fuuuuuuuuck me the transformation of that trailer is HELLISH. Not helped by the piss poor instructions, or by the fact that Ben's video is missing so many key steps (tho not hating on Ben - would have been truly stuffed without his vid). Along with transforming all the actual bots (which I'd not done for ages so had to re-learn), it honestly all took the best part of six hours (with a few breaks for chores scattered in). But the end result? Pretty spectacular, I must admit.

When I'd finally got him together I was convinced he honestly didn't need the shells, but once I had them on I actually did much prefer it. He's certainly a little back heavy, but all my joints are toleranced well.

Is pictured here with the upscaled CW Aerialbots.
