This feels damn good.
Well it is the nicest trailer of the 3!
looks good. now let's see your verdict on the combined mode and if any other glaring issues occur
I have to agree, it looks really damn great. It looks so well proportioned compared to the DX9 trailer!
For f**ks sake! Why is this so hard, especially for Menasor? At this point I just really wish someone had made a non-transforming Menasor...lightweight with ratchets the size of walnuts everywhere. I love all the individual modes of pretty much each company.
To the folks who have still have it in trailer mode,is Wilderider the only car that can fit/squeeze into the trailer?
I'm gonna reserve judgement until others and myself get this in hand. Speaking of, come on ShowZ, ship my damn trailer already..
The wrists and bicep swivels definitely look looser than expected which is not ideal. The legs however, it's tough to really judge from that video, considering the feet aren't expanded for more surface area. Also it didn't look like he even had the feet flat on the surface when the ratchets gave out, not to mention the awkward thigh swivel outwards :
I'm absolutely not implying he set it up to fail. Heavier bots however, pants-formers included, you need to have a solid base to have any hope of stability. If the feet aren't planted and the legs are awkwardly rotated, you're gonna have a bad time. Anyway, looking forward to more impressions.
Not gonna happen tonight. I started transforming it and had to walk away. Too tired to deal with all those fucking panels. Got about half way through it.
I picked a hell if a time to quit sniffing glue.
I hope there's a way to get rid of the base mode for the toy version so that it can be easier to transform.
I don't care much for dishonesty, and while opinions aren't inherently dishonest, hyperbole and intentional exaggeration can be.
I'm pleased as punch for "toon" Aegis (ver. 2) and Savant. They're some of the few figures I have that I adore.
If those of us who desire the cartoon aesthetic must deal with the base mode. Then so must the rest of you.
...Also, doesn't the 'Base mode' exist because of the toy version?

Helps when it's transformed right too and things aren't flapping around and are solidly pegged into place tbf.
But maybe that's me being mega picky.
Ooh, that's the best toy version so far.
Yeah some People seem desperate to jump to conclusions eh. Still appreciate the video but hope to find those wrists are mistransformed as I'd find it hard to believe XTB would release this with such soft joints.
Been patiently waiting for this version, the paint finish on the G1 version was gorgeous. Hopefully the delay was to fix the issues with the previous releases:
alt mode side panel tolerances, that for the G1 & G2 figure stubbornly refused to stay pegged in for a flush car exterior
undercarriage clearance, rolling the car would scratch up the finish from the bot mode's crotch panel
that’s odd, about the loose parts the video review from Ben none of which was shown. Ben was using force to move the elbow and wrist was holding the sword just fine. Can anyone else confirm these issues?
There’s the XTB quality and design prowess we all know and love.
