On ShowZ its currently £195 total for the trailer and accessories not including shipping (although free shipping is available too). Hopefully if TFS-Express are able to offer a discount or reward scheme on their UK site it may even come in a bit lower.

Seeing as ShowZ are £200 for the pair...no.

I would hope/expect TFS Express UK to be less. Maybe £120-£130 for the trailer and £35-£40 for the accessory pack. Not really interested in the pack but IF I could get both for £150...I might bite.

First number, what came to my mind was $200. And i mean everything, the trailer, the accessory pack and shipping. Absolute max. So, there is about $100 too much.

DX9's version of Motormaster included the trailer/combiner skeleton and cost in line with XTB's Gravestone. MMC add on kit not essential for Assaultus, the trailer is essential for XTB Menasor.

From the UK site? Using 1.3 as conversion rate, the 'US price' works out at £235 plus shipping from China... then VAT. Add ~50 quid and shipping. £300 or so.

I'd like to see TFS-Express Chinese site charge less than the US price, say $250 all in. Plus shipping. Plus VAT.

So sub-£200, plus shipping and VAT. I'd say £250 comes out about right using that process.

But, it depends on what the wholesale price is, and what process they use. It might not be linked to the Chinese site price at all. They might be able to do under £250 easily, who knows?

You didn't factor into the equation that all of XTB's single releases have been ~20% cheaper than DX9s, though. Limbs have been $70-80 (plus that super cheap $40 Breakdown during his initial release. Up to $60 now, which is still bargain basement pricing), compared to DX9's $100 apiece, and Gravestone was $125, compared to $185 for Capone. If you compare like-for-like, then the XTB only costs like, $15-30 more than the DX9 set, so it's really no big deal. Don't even bother factoring in the accessory pack into the comparison, as that's all stuff the DX9 set doesn't include either. So DX9 would also have to have a separate add-on to match it.

Xtb carbot sized limbs should be 20% cheaper than a dx9 seeker sized limb. So thats apples to oranges. Then you compare MM and trailer, which is apples to apples, which is $185 and $125+$230.

On top of that gravestone is no longer $125 anywhere I can consistently find. he's price creeped $140-$150 US.

Also if we want to argue it since the dx9 bots are larger they technically have OS shells for arm bots, so that 75 is factored in....plus dx9 have some extra parts on at least some of their limb bots iirc, although that was for paint qc issues :)

Different combined mode aesthetics, yes. Trailer will probably be similar just a slightly different colour:

It really doesn't matter how much how granularly you want to break it down. In the end, both sets come out to the "standard" ~$600 per set.

$200-230 for Gravestone's trailer just hurts because all the previous bits have been so fairly priced that that big chunk of change is a big shock.

Bababobo is up. Put in preorder for the accessories. Have an existing preorder there for the trailer. This from his website.

Averaging total cost based on individual products doesn't make sense. XTB didn't budget the entire combiner as a single product, they did it all as individual stand alone releases. They're not charging $300 to recover loses on previous figures, they're charging $300 because they think they can get away with it. You need to look at the trailer and accessories on their own. And $300 is nuts
