Yea I love Sovereign (and wont get rid of him!) but this one is definitely shaping up to be my primary displayed one. I MIGHT have to get 2 because that alt form isn't too shabby either. Need to see that paint next!

 

Overall nice looking figure.

Which I don't like is side skirt like some piece dropped,chubby gun and mouth shape.

 

Something about this proto makes him look chubby.

Seeing a physically copy I think this guy looks the best while also looking the most thicc.

How am I supposed to attach an insignia on that chest.

 

Zero chance the arm holds up cannon with the blast FX attached  

 

As much as I'm liking this overall (and I really do think this looks vastly better to the current competition), you're right that would be a big potential turn off for me if I can't put a decent sized insignia in the correct part of his chest.

XTB have done that a few times now where they've paid no consideration at all to where an insignia should go when designing the transformations on their figures. The only time they've really addressed it that I can think of is on the Motormaster trailer when they added a blank space for an insignia late in development, so I'm not sure how optimistic we can be they'll do anything here  

 

Wow, in physical form he looks way better than any previous MP offering. BUT, I echo the concern that placing a logo on that chest will be annoying.

I also wish the blast effect were less perfectly symmetric. It looks more like a fractal than a blast.

It looks like the cannon barrel transforms to elongate. Is this correct?

 

That head (whole head, not just the face) and cannon still need some serious revising.

 

Probably zip. Kfc and xtb really don’t do the clear “glass” details like Fanstoys does a lot. Eligos, xtb cyclonus, has an orange panted tummy and painted knee details instead of “jeweled”. Their other characters have been similar. Only character I can think of with translucent plastic, oddly enough, is their Reflector, which has a green lens for the center bot.

They had some clear plastic on Motormasters legs.

 

Not sure why there are so many complaints about the barrel, thisbia how it looked in the toon while he was in robot form and it elongated for alt mode.
