I like the proportions and the general shape of this. But so far the face looks bland and too soft. In the show his facial lines were more pronounced.

Eligos v1 also looked too soft. I hope XTB won't make the same mistake again with their first release of Abaddon.

I just which they could do a design that didn't require so many panels. The legs logic like jigsaw puzzles. Or atleast find away to hide/fit the panels better.

I was at the convention. Everything xtb had on display were early test pieces. This looked ok but no where near done. They brought what they had available to get attention to their figures and they did. So yeah I'd say there's definitely refinement in abaddon's future

The next confirmed release MAYBE in that window appears to be Le Poulpe. There is no known release date for Abaddon that I have seen.

That looks pretty damn good to me so far. I'm glad they kept to the model and didn't do the Fans Toys huge chest bullshit.

Not gonna lie. The bot mode sculpt looks great. Plus since it is XTB, we won't have to wait an eternity for repaints.

It's not terrible though. They've got a combiner to churn out too, and Jan/Feb time is dead time mostly.

Gives TT chance to announce one too, of course!

Next summer doesn't seem bad at all to me. Although, it's more likely that summer will come and go with no word on Abaddon

Maybe XTB will release a 10-year anniversary Abaddon? You know, 10 years since they announced him!

The best guess I can give is the following for next year just going off painted prototypes. I think Ground Bite/Dig Pig gets saved for 2024 along with Long Haul. MAYBE Zeusaurus gets swooped into 2023

    LePoulpe/Polpus - Jan/Feb
    James Bond - May
    Vanguard - June
    Abaddon - Oct
    King Raijin - Dec

I think XTB will easily process a lot of reissues during 2023. I also think XTB saves the majority of the carbots for 2024 to just vomit them out en masse and complete Defensor.
