I think this looks quite a bit better than FT offering, although we need to take in to account that is allready quite an old mold.

XTB is on a row here.
There are quite a few people who do not like XTB, not always fair, i had FT insectecons break on me too, XTB is the cheaper option also, but if things break easily, no, that is never a good thing, but to always say FT is so much better…
With paint chipping in (very expensive) dibots, insecticons which fall apart on me, stupendous prices as if it is some handmade figure by some famous artist.

Sure i live FT too, but the hate on XTB and the unconditional love for FT is not always right i guess.

Also some reviewers on YT bashing material on magic square and transformation and or quality on XTB seems to transfer over in these discussions also.

But i respect costumer feedback, and i hope XTB ups their game even further as, no, they are definitely not perfect

 

Maaaaan he looks great. Glad I decided on him instead of trying to track down a Movie deco Fanstoys. XTB has a way of making nice lean bots nowadays.

 

Sculpt I like. But they are going to need to add some more paint for the final version. Right now it looks like the first release of Eligos finish wise. And I only swapped him out because FT had better paint apps that matched the rest of my figures. I do not like the color of the gun though.

Does he only have 1 pylon in altmode?

Looks so many panels and joints, I'm quite worried about its durability. Hopefully not another nightmare transformation and a floppy bot.

 

Yeah this looks nice. A slight color change was never enough to make me want to double or triple dip on other FT versions. This though, I’d probably swap to.

Not going to wait for an eventual TT version which may or may not be better.

 

Wow this is great news too wake up too. I honestly didn't think this thing could make Soverign look so old.
Like i love the slim chest, and how the shoulder paldrons sit farther behind his head. The waist and ab section is so much cleaner also, especially without the translucent bits. They also nailed the colors, imo. And because, here's a profile shot, definitely some refinement, but he's looking good! So hyped now!

 

I think this might be a painted prototype looking at it, I imagine the final colours aren’t final yet. I’m hoping for a beautiful premium metallic or pearlescent paint finish to go with the glorious looking sculpt.

 

OK, I'm going to be brutally honest here: Abaddon looks bloody amazing and we wants it. Yes, we wants it, precious...

Well, sovreign is getting kinda old. I think that FT 2.0 in 2027 will absolutely destroy this so I think imma have to pass.

I mean, to get to that altmosde it would need to be a veritable jigsaw puzzle, turn inside out, parts form, or be magic. All of which are out of XTBs wheelhouse.
