Huh. Painted Eligos looks like a Vulcan puckering up for a kiss. The lines on his face are much more pronounced though.

 

After this particular observation I am now somewhat concerned about you, lol.

Thanks. I've been meaning to re-do the paint, since so much is rubbing off, but I'm happy with how it came out.

 

I have FansToys FT-29T on the way so I can check out the colors on it (don't like the silvery metallic blue on the first version), but I'm still thinking about giving my Eligos a nice purple paint job. Something about Eligos just "looks more right" size and proportions wise on the shelf to me....

 

I kinda get what you're saying about paint, but I don't mind bare plastic. I really like Eligos from the knees up... He's still my main display Cyclonus, but perhaps FT-29T will displace him. If I can get around the £150 I paid for the original FT-29 back I'll be happy, but not sure I will!

 

I'm not talking paint just for the sake of paint (though Eligos has terrible colored plastic for his face and thighs)- it's about the color for me. I want a deeper purple on my Cyclonus is all.

 

Yeah the face is sculpted well, the colour just doesn't show it. I like the main body colour though. Seriously, he's one of my all time favourite characters though. More than Galvatron perhaps.

 

I pad £160 for one the other day, you'll get that easy. I love mine though. Picked up sovereign yesterday and think Quietus is better.

 

I have Eligos but one of his wing flaps are missing, was missing when I got him an the seller doesn't have a replacement part.
I asked for a replacement from the company an they shipped it more than a month ago but when I check the last spot it says ICS New York an its been there about a month now. I dont know what to do, the post office can't locate it.
I keep him in bot mode but I would like to transform him without seeing that missing part.

 

Try filing a missing package report on the USPS website. Every time I've had a package from China disappear in ISC NY, it has magically appeared again in the system a couple of business days after filing a report. Weird, since the USPS doesn't actually control ISC (it's actually Customs & Border Patrol territory). Seems like somebody at ISC just doesn't do their job until somebody notices they're not doing they're job, lol. And a package disappearing for 30 days or so after arriving at JFK to ISC NY is NOT unusual at all.

 

I filed a missing package report in July an twice they came up negative, they wanted more information on the package, I gave them what the package looks, like the contents, I even gave them a copy of the mailing label that I got from X Transbots but still nothing.
The company sent another one last week which got here today, I guess the other one is lost.

 

Any chance of Eligos getting a reissue and/or a repaint?

 

Might have to PM @ibot or email XTB to find out for sure.

 

Just an update, I received the second package from Xtransbots so its complete now.

I also received the first box a couple of days later, wet an crushed.
The part was fine.

 

Anyone know if XTB will reissue Eligos anytime soon? I'm feeling a bit fed-up with Fans Toys latest obsession with ripping people off with a half-hue color change and passing them off as being different. It would also be nice to get a Cycllonus that can turn at the waist. I'm not interested in used. I hope they reissue this so I can get a fresh new one.

 

Ditka needs more than just a +, that hot mess needs a complete overhaul. As for Eligos, this is some good news and I can't wait. Thanks.  

 

I've posted the quote a couple of times already- but @ibot merely mentioned back when FansToys Quietus released that he was jealous or what have you and that maybe Eligos needed a paint upgrade. Never any specific plans, etc. Don't get your or everyone else's hopes up here, lol.

As for Ditka, it's been mentioned about upgrading but as I recall it was more of a re-do not just a "+" color change. Again, we haven't seen anything specific as I recall.
