Was yours MISB from a retailer? Must've been a mistake by XTB in your favor, unless it really did come with the reissue. I'm more inclined to believe it is the former. In any case, that's good news for you.
I got v1 Ollie, v2/reissue Ollie and there was no eyeball. Not sure there would have been room for it in Ollie's small box anyway.

 

Yes I got the reissue for Andras from BBTS. I also got the Ollie reissue from BBTS. I have the eye but it is in a plastic box with a lot of other accessories, so I can't remember where I got it.

 

I got the reissue and it didn't have that. Anyway, I would be surprised if any release dates are kept given the state of things at the moment. China Post has essentially shut down as well, so sellers are even taking a hiatus given the increased shipping charges.

 

So X-transbots responded to my email....sounds like they will be reissuing Andras but didn't provide an estimated release date.

 

I'll still get it either way as I missed it the first time but I'm still curious if there'll be any paint or mould changes.

 

If there were a few improvements I’d probably bite. The alt mode and stories about the leg transformation put me off a bit. Maybe if i see one going cheaper than usual RRP. Otherwise, happy to see if a challenger emerges

 

Do we know if they will reissue this as a single figure or as another 3 pack? I've seen at least one online retailer preordering for the swarm pack of 3...

 

BBTS has Andras reissue listed, single though

 

He has a lot of the problems associated with earlier XTB releases, but he's got two things going for him: toon aesthetic (even before that was a thing!) with a very strong similarity to his onscreen counterpart, and, despite his feet (aaarghh!) and transformation (Nope. Nope Nope Nope Nope. Nope!) he's got great a presence and good posability.

 

He looks incredible. For me I'm a pose it and stick it in a deltof guy so I would've snapped him up long time ago if he wasn't so pricey. I'll wait for FT version lol

 

Looks so good with the eyes painted red. Fingers crossed the release date for the reissue isn't too far off.

 

Been meaning to try painting Andras' eyes for ages now. Is the head/face easy to remove?

I hoe they give the re-issue a sweet paint job like the Stunticons, then I'll be all over this. The scuplt looks fine, he just seems a bit plastic-y looking

 

You'll need to be very mindful of the placement of the electronics. It's only three screws, but the LED is dangled from the thruster that sits on top of his head. I can post some pics later, if you want.

 

Thanks for the heads up (ho ho)! I don't have the best of luck with electronics, but I managed to take it apart alright, and while I was at it, I painted up Havoc's eyes as well (which was lot tricker).


Much better! I really dislike that horrible dead-eyed look you get from light up gimmicks. Glad they're out of fashion now.

 

If they reissue him I could consider him,but just maybe .Face is as generations Scourge 2011,good point, and chest and wings win . I had read stories of bots broken after few transformations but maybe if I'm careful and I'll avoid poses that forces some articulations his legs and body could remain entire . I'll also watch some videos.

 

Yes. It's quite easy. I painted the red on mine with a sharpie paint marker.

I also stuck a piece of tin foil in the head so that the led beam is more concentrated through the eyes and no light escapes from under the head. This allows the eyes to still brightly light up even when painted red.
