The hood over their heads could make up the height difference. I prefer the carbots to be bigger than standard Takara so am pleased but completely understand your point of view

Make a good product, get a good rep. Make products that disappoint, get people expressing anticipatory concern. Pretty sure most of us would love to see these turn out to be great products, as unlikely as that is given the manufacturer.

Anyway - I quite like the tall height of these. Feel like these Decepticons could be big bullies. Unless of course they are on one of the sacred scale charts at carbot standard height - then out with the pitchforks.

Okay, you've made your point... you're not interested in these figures or XTB as a company. I assume you're going to leave this thread alone now seeing as there's nothing of interest to bring you here? Here's a little tip... if you don't like something, don't waste any effort on it.

Agreed. Not every character, size class or style is to my taste, but I always enjoy watching reviews about figures I don't have any interest in, as it's the only way I'm going to experience them... and occasionally (just occasionally, mind) they might inspire me to take a chance.

Agree. Out of all the 3P companies, imo only XTB and Badcube have nailed the carbot formula so far. I figured with the re-emergence of the latter, one of them would take a stab at these soon. FT seem to be doing a different scale and aesthetic, so although their figures are good, they're in a different pocket now. And at under $100 the price of these XTB ones works for me... pre-ordered.

As an aside, I wonder how TMReviews feels about this reveal after he just got Getrightrobot (and must have paid a fair wedge in the process) to customise a pair of MP Wheeljacks into these characters only a month or so back. Those customs are superb, but the alt. modes are both just Stratos variants.
