I transformed mine. Nothing broke, lol, and while the transformation is basically easy, I didn't find it smooth. Tends to fall backwards (though it's good when you leave it alone) and the pegs are more like locators, they don't solidify the figure.

Looks great though. I'm not gonna bother with the tank mode.

"It's just a jet to your left
And then a sweep to your right
With your hands in the air
And your knees, er ... sadly unbendable due to 80s toy constraints
But it's the fact you're Galvatron that really drives you insane,
Let's do the Time Warp again!"

Actually watched this on Disney+ (via Starz on the UK) last night for a Meatloaf send off of sorts!

Just got mine in the mail. Nothing broken, thankfully.

I can see where people have been ripping his arms off, but it looks like a pretty easy problem to mitigate. Haven't attempted the transformation otherwise, though, so I'll see how that goes.

I wasn't expecting him to take so many design cues from MP-44.

What's up with the scope? That's a new one, haven't heard of any problems regarding it. I've only heard of it proving difficult for some people to find the correct orientation to fold it up.

I can just imagine Jannsen dressed up as Dr. Frank-en-furter and saying:
"Come on up to the lab, to see what's on the slab."

Well I received my X-transbots Perceptor today, 1st thing I did was carefully lift him out of his polystyrene casing like I was handling a porcelain doll, and slowly checked both his legs were attached forward/backwards and Sideways motion all good phew, then checked his arms same movements phew, carefully put him back in his casing until more time later. All other accessories great and oh dam alas poor Bumblebee didn't make it.....otherwise Perceptor feels like a very solid decent piece at brief look other.
Now to contact X-transbots and babba about a replacement Bumblebee lol

Can't believe I found an autobot decal small enough for Brawn lol, my plan was to use the idw head on planet x Perceptor for my Wreckers display but 1. The ball joint is way too big 2. Head is just slightly too big (although some may say he has a bit of a big head)
He put him in a James bond pose with his Martini glass (joke) although it is open that end so no reason why you couldn't (yep I've been following this thread from the start) 20220124_121405.jpg 20220124_221054.jpg 20220124_221200.jpg 20220124_222432.jpg 20220124_222528.jpg 20220124_223119.jpg 20220124_223447.jpg 20220124_223523.jpg 20220124_224122.jpg 20220124_224133.jpg 20220124_224147.jpg

I still think it's still funny when people say they're lucky for QC. Lucky implies the outcome is the rarity which clearly isn't the case. The amount of breaks is still too high and unexceptable but the figures have definitely been much more good than bad by a large margin. XTB still hasn't fixed their hit or miss standards though so don't get me wrong. Fan Toys fanboys still have the higher ground when it comes to all aspects of figures. I don't really care cause I end up getting both depending on what's released. (I'm not singling you out @arobichaud - it's been too many people saying and I just think it's silly)

Well, I recieved my Perceptor today; first impressions...the hands are the worst Ive ever seen on a PM scaled figure, and the chest plate wont sit flush. Other than that, so far so good.

The chest will sit flush, you need to make sure the slot it connects to is open all the way so it fits securely

I don't know about the TMReview, haven't watched it yet, but my friend who got it 1 day before me said he thinks he snapped it when he was trying to change the head.

It's pretty flat surface so I could glue I was thinking a tiny metal pin maybe a bit fiddly but would make it stronger overall.
I contacted Babba last night about it he's offered to contact X-transbots for me so that was prompt with Chinese new year will take a little while which is understandable. I not overly fussed about it but if they send me another that's cool as well

I wouldn't say the hands in their entirety. But the thumbs are pretty funky/fugly.
