Also fair enough. I don't recall having to force anything much past anything on Stack. I guess it's just the written instructions being poor.

FT Air Raid's transformation is fine, surely? It's just a somewhat poor figure compared to FT Skydive. I don't remember any difficulties with it.

 

And the XTB Menasor ones saved a huge number of people's sanity!

 

Wow! I assume you used wire and a glue gun? I need to try and make these.

 

There's a tricky bit getting panels for the middle of the jet past each other.

 

Hmm. I tried a white sticker on the crotch area since that part is upside-down from the G1 toy, but I don't think it really works...

I guess I'm not the only one losing the QC lottery. FYI I already tried messaging customer service but they're gone 40 days for CNY.

 

I am pretty dang impressed with this figure. I'm really cautious about XTB, and usually when I get a figure from them, I know I'm sacrificing a lot of what I look for in figures for the aesthetic. But Stacksy turned out far better than I could have hoped.

Still has some of that XTB... Umm... "Charm", but not nearly as bad as I feared. Super happy I decided to get him. Feels great in hand and transformation isn't too bad either.

 

How the hell did this happen?? I could understand if the blue panel was accidentally used from the toon version- but it matches the toy-blue. Lol wtf XTB

 

According to the QC sticker, they only checked the other leg

 

One leftover piece from the early test sample run? (which I would have SO bought, the red inner legs still bug me, and is the main reason I haven't bought one yet). If I could get one colored like the early sample, with blue lower inner legs...

 

That's bizarre all right. No idea how single part could me molded in the wrong colour, considering multiple parts would be on the same mold / sprue.

Are those leg panels actually blue plastic painted red, and they just forgot to paint that one?

 

The same part on the right leg looks darker than the other red parts, I'm guessing it's a part made of blue plastic and then painted red, and in this case it's a right piece in the right place but not painted. On the right leg, does this part have both sides the same color, or is it red on one side and blue on the other?
