I would love something like this, I don't like those grey hinges

 

I plan to get Delta when he's eventually made, would the parts you're making now look good on him?

 

Since the toy had no hinge there, wouldn't it better to match the colour to the shoulder?

 

I am just not that into galvatron enough to stomach the $270 price tag. Even the $210 sale price was bit much. If I could find one for $200 I would probably grab it.

All these recolors are killing me. I am all about sunbow accuracy. But I also like the toy/youth aesthetic, and now the diaclone repaints are killing my wallet also.

 

Well since I was messing with the missile already…I figured I try making some missile blast effects. I’m not sure if I recall UM ever firing his missiles in the cartoon??? I could be wrong. Maybe it makes for a better accessory for truck battle mode dioramas  



They plug on (when you remove the missile) and made them as (2) different lengths in clear filament. I can make these available also.

There was at least one, iirc. He fired them at something, they went *thud* and dropped to the ground without exploding. I want to say it had to do with Quintessons. Hrmm, I need to short circuit myself to travel inward and access this buried memory  

 

You’re thinking of The Killing Jar! An excellent episode. Magnus and the others are held prisoner behind energon bars and he fires a missile at the bars but it falls to the ground with no effect.

The second one is from the episode where Daniel and Grimlock fall through an interdimensional portal and meet The Red Wizard, an exiled Quintessom who was banished for learning dark magic. Magnus here is firing a missile at his forces.

Chest plate looks great! Your photos and work are tempting me as always. I do think I prefer the silver face though.

Anyone else get some really iffy tampos on their Youth Stack?

The foot shouldn't be hard to get a part for and swap, but the chest...yikes. That part is just painted blue, it's the front frame of the torso.

EDIT: Aaaand one of the arm flap hinges cracked. I knew I should've sanded that down.
