Hopefully XTB will include that IDW head with the Delta Magnus version. That just looks so good.

Magnus is my fave Autobot. The blue shades are perfect. I'm made up right now. Happy days. Now, should I track down a Takara Delta or wait for XTB.....decisions, decisions.

yeah but I can't seem to get one of them to twist around all the way to get it in the right orientation

 

X-Transbots has made one of the best 3rd party figures of the year with Ultra Magnus. There is a real walked out of the screen into 3D form feel about this. I have the toon version but would double dip in an instent if they tweaked the toy version to have white pants and white shins similar to the comics. The lighter blue looks really good!

 

Would be cool to see the Marvel version but I'm not complaining about a toy deco:



Just need mp36+, KFC pmop and I'm printing a Scorponok around Magnus height to go with this group.

Oh and maybe toy Stunticons. All my childhood faves in MP toy style.

 

8 different faces, couldn't they have made just one of them blue?

 

I'm highly considering the double dip too...but I think for toon I'll just do the FT version

 

City Commanders:



Magnus to get a blue face, full chest shield and a nice fat abs Autobot emblem to finish off.

 

Will he get his shins transformed correctly as well?  

 

Hope their stock drops soon. Seeing all these toon and youth Stack pics has me chomping at the bit for this figure!

Removed those god awful qc stickers and sorted the shins as not to keep upsetting others  

 

now that is a money shot. the two look awesome together. i also realize what the yellow eye magnus face reminds me of....the head/face that is on the diaclone logo(great robot base). the eye shape is evocative of that for sure at least to me. can't wait to get this in!

 

Oh yeah, big question, does the toy version have the light up eyes and voice box like the toon one does?

 

Ngl, youth stack is calling out to my inner 10 year old like no TF has done in a long time.

 

I got mine yesterday, and I'm in awe. Really one of, if not the, best pieces XTB has put out.

Super solid robot mode, excellent articulation. Diecast is, thankfully, used smartly and sparingly. Paint is excellent all around.

Transformation is very involved, but actually not difficult or frustrating. Considerable thanks to Emgo and @Mykltron for all the little bits and tips the instructions leave out.

Truck is much more solid than I was expecting.

He really, really does need a gray face though. And some brighter eyes helps.

 

Got my shipping notification from ShowZ for the toy colored version, super hyped!!! The few pictures I've seen so far look real good!

 

Gonna make some tweaks to it. But overall, it works.

 

So excited for BBB to eventually ship mine!
