i was reorganising stuff yesterday with road king actually to make room for this guy assuming they were the same size roughly. This works well. Hes basically the same just those shoulders.

I only wish XTB had included little tiny Constructicons, molded onto an extra pair of Magnus hands, as accessories.

 

I love this version of Ultra Magnus. It feels like he came off the screen. The robot mode is just perfect! I haven't had any major qc issues yet. Though his right shoulder joint doesn't seem to do the soft clicky noise that the left one does. The truck mode is great! it is a little bit smaller, size and length wise, than TTs version and the cab doesn't have much of a turning radius as I would like. The cab has a small gap in the back for some reason? Also, the cab is a pain in the ass to get together. I couldn't get the back of the cab to stay put with the rest of it until I turned the head facing the floor / backwards and that fix that issue. Overall Just a fantastic figure. I don't care about FTs option as I don't like my Ultra Magnus being a white Optimus Prime wearing armor.

So I guess these hairline fractures on the front hip skirts are a "known" issue? Seems like everyone's copy has this, including mines. I have them on both sides right out of the box. I got this guy sometime last week but haven't had time to really mess around with him till now. Im pretty impressed but that crack on the hipskirt is bothering the fux out of me. Would anyone know if this is an easy fix? Im looking to ask for replacement parts but I see pins in this area, what could I unscrew to fix this?

Is there any thing I should look out for? Anything to fix?

I did not have this problem, but fortunately, it isn't too difficult to amend: apply super glue on (and in) the fracture, then put a layer (of paper, tissue, whatever it may be) on the super glue, and that will serve as a bandage of sorts.

 

I think the whole hip section would need replacing. The 'bandage' method ^above^ might work, though.

 

Since the skirts are keyed, I would assume you can remove the skirts and use either super glue or epoxy to fix the crack and the re insert the skirts once dry. Ibwould still request parts, never hurts to have options.

 

Mine doesn't have them.

 

Have any of you guys ordered Commander Stack from Show Z and end up with the X-Transbots seal being broken? Customs didn't open my package. There wasn't any customs tape on the outer box saying it was inspected and the Show Z tape wasn't severed at all. It came in the same condition from Show Z that all of my other items have from them with seals intact which I believe means Show Z sent me a return. I haven't opened it any further and pending shipping will send it back.
