Just saw an update on The Chosen Prime's site that Commander Stack will be arriving soon.

Shipping him as soon as my order hits my stash! Looking forward to adding him to the '86 crew!

Had the opportunity to play with this for a bit, man, Stack is a unit!

Easily the 3P figure of the year to me. @ibot , put this much love on your Galvatron, please!

I feel like just using the bottom to lever it open stresses the tiny tiny tab at the top.

With recent discounts at showz for figures i bought before they went on sale, i still got points added to my account.
So after those points i bought stack for only 127euro, instant no brainer for the financial part.

Like the look in both modes, like the fact that it actually transforms without partsforming into 2 clean and accurate modes.
But, I've always stayed clear from XTB because of obvious reasons, so i might regret it afterwards...

Still working out positioning, but I'm liking how Stack looks with the 86 crew.

This setup kind of takes away from Apache being a bit too big...although i am tempted with Virtus (and Locke) despite my relatively strict no doubles (unless combiners...) rule o_O

Hmmm. Nah. I even like Carry as he has the serous grump face, although I will be swapping him for a more g1 movie style option when it happens.

Now that I finally gave in and pulled the trigger on this guy, it took me a bit to decide on my display plans for the (eventual) three MP-scaled Ultra Magnuses (magni?) in my collection.

MP-22 will go into alt mode, to be displayed with alt mode MP-10 (since their cabs match), XTB will be movie shelf Magnus, and I'll capitalize on the white Prime aspect of the eventual FT Magnus and do something with that.

...I wrote out this entire post before realizing that I also have MP-31, but his spot with the diaclone repaints is pretty well established.

I got some batteries yesterday and it seems like, after going through several of them, that the lights don't work. The sounds do though.

Anyone still waiting on BBB to ship their order? I ordered 3 weeks ago and they still haven't shipped my order for this guy.

I finally transformed mine to alt mode tonight and it was surprisingly easy and intuitive. There were only two spots that were slightly fiddly, but nothing that took more than a few attempts to line everything up properly.

A screenshot with the mistransformed shins.
And he doesn't even mention or corrects it in his review.

I mean I really like the guy, but then you're just not paying attention.

Same here. I think getting everything aligned underneath/sides is the “hardest” part, IMO.

Fuzz is 10 times more complicated than this.

Home run by XTB. Can’t wait for their Galvy now.

He also refers to the ramps as doors and complains because they won't sit closed with no gaps. I mean, they are ramps and they aren't suppose to sit side by side flush like a door.

Yeah that kind of stuff bugs the hell out of me, especially from a reviewer that prides himself on being critical. If you’re going to make these judgments you should know more about your subject matter.

between this and the fact that (to me) he seems to just be cranking out videos rather than putting any time into any one review is why I stopped watching him. Missing something is fine, but he always seems to miss at least one thing on almost every figure he looks at

id agree somewhat with this. I do like to hear his opinion though. I just take with a grain of salt. It is after all his opinion and when you take it knowing his views on certain things it gives you a good rounded view. The fact he didnt want to bash it against a wall is a big plus from him.

Transformed mine last night for the first time. The trailer is fairly simple, it's just the cab and the wheels where there's a lot of steps, but understandable given what it's achieving in both modes. It wasn't always the most intuitive but it was far from hateful. The separate parts of his abdomen probably gave me the most trouble working out what I was doing. I just followed the videos by @Mykltron (thanks again for those!) took my time and now he's a truck.

This is why I have much more respect for the likes of EmGo, who take the time to make sure they properly transform everything and demonstrate that in the video. I want to know what the modes and features are when done properly. Not just kind of halfassed done and said “good enough.” I don’t judge my figures based on “kind of sort of done because I hate transforming things and it’s a chore to me.” I tend to watch reviewers with the same philosophy on their figures as me. And I know that’s not BSF’s thing, and that’s why I don’t watch most of his reviews. I only watched his review because he got it relatively early and I wanted to see as much of the figure as I can.
