It's the same for most activities, there are beginner, moderate and advanced levels. A beginner would have a hard time at a moderate level activity, just like a moderate would have a hard time at an advanced level activity.

Just got this figure, and I have the problem with the unscrewing left arm. I'll get a filer and deal with that.

Otherwise, all of the other tolerances are perfect. Wish the figure had more head articulation though.

I am not a fan of Bobby, for many reasons. But I wholeheartedly agree with him on this review. Every reviewer I have watched has the same criticisms.

I am very happy with Stack. He looks fantastic. I love the toon accuracy. But I am never going to transform him. If I was bent on transforming my figures, and could only have one, I would be sticking with mp-22. I just transformed mine to alt mode; I did it in like 5 minutes probably, without any problems, and without any instructions. And really, after looking at them side by side, mp-22 still looks really good.

I have to give takara credit (that I don’t want to). Even their complex transformations like mp-44 manage to be intuitive and have little frustration compared to those from XTB and Fanstoys. And I have to agree that XTB lacks the finesse for complex transformations like this. Or just don’t care. They manage to make it work. But they fail to iron out the small issues like tab sizes, and motion interference, that they shouldn’t have problems with any more. Which dampens the experience for many of us. I am sure if I tried transforming Stack, I would have a worse time of it than Bobby.

Transformation notwithstanding, one of the front skirts on mine was floating around in the box and is very loose. It’s a minor thing, so I won’t make a big deal about it. But it did slightly sour the unboxing experience.

Bottom line, in my opinion, Xtb is a veteran that is still making rookie mistakes.

A caveman shouldn't transform something intended for a skill level many times higher than they have.

    There, fixed that for you.

Do we know if the G1 Toy version has an optional white pelvis like the prototype photos, or does he only come with the red pelvis?

Mine arrived today. I haven’t transformed it yet, but apart from a few tiny paint blemishes on one of the thighs it doesn’t appear to suffer from any of the issues other people have complained about.

I expect it to fall apart as soon as I start the transformation.

Plus he made a point of acknowledging with a bit of, "Yes, metal pry tool, ohnoooo," before proceeding very carefully and explaining it all out.

(I'd still use a plastic spudger though...)

He has said he's not interested in transformations.

The stupid thing is, he does have head articulation but the sculpt gets in the way. I trimmed loads of material off the back of the grey neck piece and now mine can look up.

The thing is, there's no gap on that one step to get anything in. I struggle to get even the thinnest blade in on mine.

Why is anyone using a knife...

There's plenty of gap on the bottom of the panel to unpeg the backpack easily.

Maybe I'll just buy them from ShowZ where both are happily in stock and cancel with Baba.

Just saw an update on The Chosen Prime's site that Commander Stack will be arriving soon.

Shipping him as soon as my order hits my stash! Looking forward to adding him to the '86 crew!
