For the grey I used Tamiya light grey fine surface primer then just coated with TS-79 semi-gloss clear. Their grey TS spray paints are all varying shades darker than their primer, and I didn't want to go any darker than that. For the eyes I used TS-23 light blue and also coated with TS-79.

They were already spread  

I'm not some uncultured swine y'know. Well, mostly at least

That’s really true. I had forgotten but I think I was only able to do it thanks to your video.

 

It sucked real bad. I did v1 with the instructions. I wasn't afraid if breakage since I knew it was being replaced.

 

Just got mine from ShowZ today. Haven't transformed it yet, but so far mine seems good. Ratchets work in both the left and right knee. Shoulders do not unscrew when rotating. Hip skirts are tight.

Also I put the batteries in but kept the solid default eyes and it still looks pretty good with the LEDs on and not dead with them off. Of course it was much brighter with the translucent eyes, but when off they were too dark.

 

That does look nice with a soft glow.

 

Wonder what happened to the toy colours version that was scheduled to be released first and had a bunch of production samples.  

Guess we won't see it till the new year at this point. Hope they're using the time to improve the QC?

 

The bad thing about preordering from a domestic estore (US), is they get things last. I'm still waiting for The Chosen Prime to get X-trans Tirador/Artfire. I've had it Paid for since September.

 

My pictures are always hit and miss but xtb Magnus has so much presence on the shelf , my love for this figure is mahoosive !!!!!!! really need to get myself some good risers especially for the dinobots below
