I think some of the cab parts seem a bit much but on the other hand they made a full semi truck cab disappear. and I truly believe the worst part of this transformation is that the arms flop around for the entire sequence and it makes it cumbersome to hold.

Only had the figure for about 10 minutes last night before bed. But just out of the box he's feeling good. Since abb crunch and waist swivel are both so important around here, I thought I should try them both out.

Despite the gun looking blue in the earlier photos, it is indeed some shade of violet/purple. Another case of the Curse of Skywarp where purple is just near impossible to photograph correctly. So far I'm very happy with the big guy.

But I am confused why XTB decided the Only Human figure was going gray on just one side of his head. He was gray at the temples on both sides in the cartoon.

Never thought rage quitting would transfer from the video game world to transformers. Kinda funny.

I was eye'ing MP-22 (or its KO's), but I always thought he was a bit too chunky for my liking. I understand why that is, since there is a white Prime on the inside, but the Toy House Factory version might be worth hunting down though.

There isn't a white Prime on the inside of MP-22 (or its KOs).

#1. There is no white Prime in MP-22 or the KO....they are both all-in-one transformations.
#2. You don't want toon accuracy, yet you bought the most toon accurate and complex Magnus on the market.
I have one word for you my friend....REASEARCH! On a purchase like this, do some reasearch to get a look into what your buying.

Ah, thought there was, apologies. It was just never a consideration for me considering how long ago it was released, and its general appearance, it's too chunky for me.

I am a reseller and I received a shipment of Stacks today from my supplier. I opened one out of morbid curiosity, before I send it to my friend (who will review it for his Youtube channel), to help promote my site and hopefully improve the sales of Stack. Stop assuming things when you have zero idea what's going on.

I'm curious, what are your criteria for a Magnus? If MP-22 is too chunky, how about the Titanium Magnus from 2007. Nice and slim with what looks like a simple transformation!

If this isn't the biggest overreaction I've seen lol. I did it with the terrible instructions back and forth just fine. With the video, it was even easier. Just funny to see reactions like this when there were plenty of videos out there before release showing the transformation and how involved it is.

My personal criteria are nothing special, just something slimmar than MP-22, while not as cartoon as XTB Stack. The pickings are slim, and old as well.

I followed the videos, it just wasn't a fun experience. Simple as that. I am glad you got a laugh out of it though, because I didn't.

do you think the ft Magnus would be more to your liking? its parts forming but transformation would seem a lot easier also we still only have renders so who knows what they will change

Maybe? Don't get me wrong here, while I am not a fan of the toon accurate design, Stack looks great. The paint is high quality (much better than Virtus), the plastic feels durable and the ratchets all hold. Despite the torturous transformation process, I could feel that the materials held the figure together.

And that is just my whole point here, I am not that big a fan of how he looks and his transformation is the pits, but for the rest he is good.

I didn’t buy this but after watching videos I know I’d be right there with you. I’ll already have one xtb trailer. And I don’t want another. I’ll just wait.

I guess Skids is the right one! At least xtb was also faithful in the length proportions :D

One thing I find interesting in all this discussion of X-Transbots is how horrible their instructions almost always are. It was present on my Locke V2 (which I really like), I flat out gave up on the instructions when I was transforming Savant for the first time, and I'm pretty sure it was a thing on many of their other figures as well.

I asked my wife for the toon version of this for Christmas, so nothing in here or the videos has managed to put me off. I'm wondering how many steps the instructions only partially show or entirely miss this time around.
