It should, as it is very true to the G1 design. Originally the tail forms the shield, and it seems to work the same way here.

I guess right now we are just talking about the design and proto, which are nice. Once we get into production, more conversations about QC will emerge, I'm sure. At least I know it happens every Takara's MP.

Just to make a little conversation, I know I won't be an early adopter of a Xtransbots product (or Toyworld, after Hot Fire).

The answer is simple, if it is good I will buy it, if not, guess what, I won't... As simple as that, but people always love the drama.

This thread would be pretty boring if it was just 33 pages of "bet it'll have shit QC - hard pass". People should do their due diligence and avoid pre-ordering if they don't feel confident in the company, but people can also just enjoy a design for what it is.

What exactly were you hoping to accomplish with coming into this thread, insulting people just talking positively about how an in-production figure looks, and generally seeming angry?

The Horrorcons, and Victory Leo are quite good imo. Only Eligos is bad... And those are the only XTB /KFC products I own, but I also heard positive things about Wreck Gar too

So, basically, I think XTB's figures with simple transformations almost always are great. Locke has almost impossible engineering; this thing doesn't need to do anything crazy to transform. Plus there's no reason to have any thin plastic spots anywhere.

Finally, this is the only appropriately-sized MP Deszaras, and we've had the 'good guys' from this series for quite some time.

Overrated how? Klaatu is pretty much universally regarded as the best Cosmos out of several. Andras was so good that FT took years to put out a Scourge that STILL doesn't look as good IMO. XTB's Reflector, Stunticons, Hoist and Toro are all also quality pieces I have in my shelf that (subjectively) won out over multiple competitors. If you include KFC, the Horrorcons, Victory Leo, Blaster and Twincast are also quality releases.

Personally, I think Dezaras is way oversized. He's supposed to be in scale with regular StarSaber; Victory Saber is to be in scale vs LioKaiser.

1:52 in the clip shows the size difference.

Yeah, that was my immediate complaint as well since I don't own Simba. $20 says we are getting a Simba reissue soon lol.

Well, if Magnus breaks he's still technically cartoon accurate for that one scene :D

Oof! Too soon man, too soon. It's only been 35 years and I'm still traumatized from that scene.
