XTB are not a company that inspires much confidence as a buyer but I'm pleased to see someone is finally having a go at Cliffjumper.

The realistic alt mode will take a bit more getting used to than Bumblebee but I think it's right way to go as a Chibi Porsche would look silly next to all the other carbots.

I'm very intrested to see how the robot mode looks.

 

Yeah, been waiting forever, not sure why its so hard to make her.

 

I'm guessing Hubcap is just a repaint/retool of CJ.

 

That should be the case. They are both the same model car and have the same bot mode. Really the only thing different is the color and the head.

 

Yeah, she should be relatively "easy," I would think. Legs fold and lay straight out and arms fold up under car. Boom. Done  

And man.. You know BadCube would do her face major justice as well. They handsome'd out Sunstreaker. I'm sure they would make a beautiful Arcee face sculpt.

I need to get this of my chest, all 3p makers are dumb as shit. How fucking stupid do they have to be to not understand how popular Jazz is? Nobody do him right, they don't do me right.

 

I think they DO understand how popular Jazz is, and just assume Takara will do him, so there is no money to make there.

I do know of ONE company that had a Jazz homage planned, but it wasn't MP style, and they put it on the back burner since then and never announced it.

I hope BadCube does every minibot eventually. Xtransbot has a long way to go.

 

This has always been my assumption as well. They steer clear of him thinking Takara will get around to him. And the more time that goes by without one being made, the more they think it's inevitable. It's a viscous circle which kills me, as Jazz is my favorite character.

 

Just because we haven't see anything, doesn't mean there's nothing in the pike. Maketoys came out of nowhere with its Re:Master line.

There is Hova, but I expect a year & a half development time on him like Omnigonix had with Spinout. I'd be pleasantly suprised if he comes out this year.

I don't understand why? If they do it now they get all the money. Cause guess what, aint no tt jazz coming that we know of. By the time takara gets around to it they would have made all the money by then.

 

Or maybe they know something the rest of us don't... MP-32 maybe...

 

Also, Cliffjumper has a spoiler and Hubcap does not. But yeah, the amount of retooling should be minimal.

 

Whoever does Jazz better throw in some club goers in dance pose so we can jam!

 

X-Transbots needs to slow their roll. All they are showing are renderings.

 

so if they start making Jazz and 2 months later Takara reveal a prototype. 3rd parties don't have room to make mistakes. Stuff like that can put them out of business.

 

Yeah, but I think the companies all assume that 2 days after they show a prototype of Jazz online Takara will show a MP Jazz outline in some Japanese magazine, and everyone's preorder for a third party Jazz will be dropped. Safer to do guys like Hardhead I guess.

I'm hoping we also get a Tap-Out out of this mold! He's just a green Cliffumper toy. Plus how about Dealbreaker? He's the black Cliffumper who appeared in one club story. He's in the back in this picture:



(Okay, I know Dealbreaker was just an undercover identity for Tap-Out, but still, it was a toy!)
