I would love to see XTB take on a toon accurate Bee. I have zero doubt it would smoke the official version.

Toro had a real-life alt-mode form, fairly accurate to the source, albeit in the wrong scale. The robot mode was pretty damn good, and probably the best anyone can do, turning into a realistic Porsche 924.

MP-45 is a horrible monster.

 

You are looking at the wrong side of the situation. Toro does have a realistic alt mode. He also has 80% of it folded away and hanging off his back in bot mode.

I'd buy it if it's got a chibi alt-mode like this new bee. Be cool to have an example of both the realistic with Toro and MP21 and the cartoonish with Takara's new mp. I'd hope it comes out a bit better though. Maybe though they abandon the "Spike fits inside feature" (that I think also screwed up MMC's Cliffjumper) and get rid of a bit more of that kibble.

 

That's finally happening and with improvements. Hopefully, the repaints for the figure won't take as long to come about.

Yay so I finally got mine today and I'm pretty happy with it. The transformation was fun and I didn't use instructions. It was a very simple and logical execution and reminds me of Bumblebee, which is good. It's cool how what you are automatically tempted to do is the right thing. Which is to grab it from both sides and crack it like an egg.

Everything was going great and all I had left was the backpack and now I'm a little... vexed. I'll show you and if you can tell me what in doing wrong, I appreciate it.



Like I see the slots on the front by his should line up perfectly with the slots on his windshield but it just doesn't wanna cooperate.


Ahhhhhaaaaaaaaaa. I stopped typing and messed around with the rear fender piece and it finally worked! I love this little guy!



I understand why this is the right choice. They engineered him to fit with MP Bumblebee. It's like they share the same DNA. Brilliant!

 

How do you feel about the backpack?

 

I totally have no problem with it. Before I had it in hand, I was strongly considering Ocular Max Helion. The real reason that I chose this was because of the alt mode. I wanted the more realistic car mode.

Here's some comparisons with backpacks.



Almost the same with Sunstreaker's backpack.



Although, Bumblebee's backpack is shorter, I wanted to note that their length from front to back are the same.

I think Helion would have been great but it would make Bumblebee look bad. These look good together because they share so many features and flaws.

 

Is coprimozzo worth picking up? I have MMC Hellion as my Cliffjumper and am thinking whether to get coprimozzo................

 

I feel like I should have done that since MMC doesn't have another option.

 

Good luck with that unless you want to paint or apply decals.

 

I have Hellion and Coprimozzo (and the Aces TOys version for that matter). Coprimozzo is definitely worth picking up like the others. They all have their unique strengths and desirabilities. Grab Coprimozzo while it is still available.

 

I mean yeah, painting and decals would be the top 2 modification methods. I was wondering if anyone had done so yet and if so, I'd love to see.
