Join the club lol. I just started a G2 MP shelf and between Maketoys and XTB it’s filling up super fast and it’s turning into one of my favorite shelves. Just need someone to make an MP Megatron tank in ugly Camo colors lol

 

Looks nice with that metallic paint but I already have one so won't be swapping out at this point.

 

Reminds me of the old KFC days when you never buy the v1, cuz v2 is coming with fixes.

Gorgeous, shame they didn\'t get it perfect the first time.  Oh well.

 

Forearms and heel spurs have changed, just at a casual glance.

 

Forearms haven't changed. They're just not swivelled around fully in either of those pictures.

Blue colour looks a tad darker on the new one as well, although that could just be lighting.

Other than the heel spur, though, the only other major change is supposed to be that the roll cage/engine block is easier to transform, and you won't be able to tell the difference in those parts without close scrutinizing of his backpack.

Gun is painted gunmetal grey this time around, instead of being the same unpainted grey as the headlights and some of the rollcage pieces.

Like @mx-01 archon said, the forearms are mistransformed in the shot of the original version. You can see that the left (our right) forearm on the new figure is similarly mistransformed. There doesn't appear to be a change in the forearm.

You can see that the heelspurs are shorter in the image on the right. Also it looks like the rollcage might be sitting lower on his back? Or part of it at least? A bar is hanging down behind his butt now. I don't have my V1 with me (actually it's V2 as there was a running change in the first run) so I can't check to see if that position is possible on the old one. Doesn't seem to be enough change for me to replace mine... not that I would anyway - these toys are expensive enough with only buying them once.

 

So there's no true visual difference between the first run and this reissue?

 

Not that I can see from just the photos we've gotten. We'll have to wait until somebody gets it in hand for a comparison.

I don't think there will be any visual difference. Let's just hope the quality is improved.

 

Wow, really looks great. Good on them for improving upon the release instead of just rereleasing it. Looks amazing even with the backpack. I was looking at the fans toys one but now im not sure, this could be better.

What was improved? I don't see how it will top FT. Not to mention FT will have rubber tires.

 

This v2/do over/whoops let's fix this thing trend is getting out of control. How many times has xtb done this? It sucks.
