And if he is stable as is, he doesn't need any diecast just for the heck of it. That Dikta example is a good one, he is so back heavy that now that @mcart mentions it, it makes a lot of sense. But Paean is just fine as it is, diecast just for the sake of having it is just simply not ideal IMO. Leave that for FT and their 5lbs insecticons.

I really hope XTB doesn't start with that.

A die cast chest for G1 toy fanatics, maybe? :)

But I agree, die cast is good just for feet (MMC Inferno is a good example) and fragile parts. A glossy coat on plastic can give the same high end finish without the problems of die cast.

iBot... please listen to absolutely NO ONE who is saying this figure needed more diecast. Paean is perfect as is. Other than the KFC hands which are too thin and easily come apart, this figure is excellent.

Slight change of subject but does anyone else wish that they had left off the mirrors or had a way to hide them? They kinda get in the way of the shoulder movement.

Other than that I'm absolutely loving this guy!

Got this in today and he does look glorious. However, I do have some feedback. His feet are too loose, they should of had a locking mechanism. His head swivel part should also have a locking mechanism and his tow hook on his back should also have a locking mechanism, mines flops down....so what is our theme tonight?? More locking mechanism, like how the two orange pegs to the silver holes on his back.

A locking head mechanism would've been nice but overall I think this is a pretty good figure. He may not have "heft" to him but he is a good feeling bot. I've been critical of Xtrans in the past but I gotta say nice job on this one. And the new packaging is fantastic also. Well done

    Thank you @ibot !

Can we assume that after Cosmos, Abbadon is next?

My paean from baba arrived today. I'm thinking of getting Aegis from him as well. Glad to see XTB finally using rubber tires. KFC did it nicely with their junkions.

Just ordered Aegis yesterday after my Paean arrived. It'll be about 2 weeks before it arrives. I just hope there aren't any holidays in China during that time like when I ordered Paean.
