Apparently they're not just a retailer but also a wholesaler. Not sure who they supply but I guess the implication is XTB would be cut off from more than just TFSource.

TF Express doesn't seem much better. Someone reported over in the FT Hunk (Brawn) thread that when they received their invoice to pay off their pre-order they could see ALL of the recipients emails that the mass invoice was sent to. That's a BIG old 'no-no'.

 

Nothing on my email from them for my FT Hunk preorder invoice except my email address (and the email content itself lol!).

 

I could see 48+ other emails on the first email I received at 12.23pm but then I got a second at 12.26pm with no others showing.

 

D'oh! I only got that 2nd email. Not great from them.

 

If the market in the US is large enough for a supplier to be concerned about a retailer making demands, it's also large enough for other retailers to be in the game. The simple solution would be, as you say, to say "No" to TFSource and to continue to supply their competitors. TFSource then have to decide whether they lose business to their competitors or if they concede.
A third alternative is that TFSource try to arrange with their US based competitors to take a similar stand, at which point XTB could just say "fine, we'll just supply to non-US retailers and sell out anyway".
I'm really not sure why XTB would allow themselves to be held hostage by a single retailer.

 

Someone fucked up and used CC and not BCC, clearly. Hardly tfsource level stuff. Worst case scenario a load of tf fans have each others email addresses. No passwords etc.

 

But what if they get together and start a new barter system and cut out BIG TF?!

I like Source being a synonym for fucking up though. "TF Express really TFSourced those e-mails this morning, we've been putting out fires all day!"

Silliness aside (reluctantly) does indeed seem that someone just hit the wrong button. An error, for sure but no secure information was compromised. Not that this should be totally forgiven, I do think they owe the concerned parties an apology.

XTB forcing Chinese retailers to charge the state side mark up price.

 

That plus the Rona. Supplies, labor, and shipping are all disrupted so everything things are more expensive now.

 

And that's only because USA retailers like TFSource are forcing XTB to do so otherwise they are threatening to stop selling XTB/KFC products.

 

That's dirty pool by them. The other retailers should keep doing what they want with pricing to charge the customers. So what if tfsource stops selling their products. Worst (or best depending on how you side with it) case is that they stop selling their and possibly go under (which I doubt would happen) but that just gives other retailers a bigger allotment of product.

Looks like all the ebay sellers have raised their pre-order pricing too, ie: mascot_home had it at $85, now it's $105  

 

I got in at $85 but now I'm worried there's gonna be issues when it releases, adding fees or cancelling it
