I have the V1 Aegis. Paid $68. I think $124 is a ridiculous price.

 

I cancelled my preorder because I think it is a bit expensive. If they had told me about the 1500 points promotion, I probably wouldn’t have cancelled it ...

 

Just checked, ShowZ is now offering the 1500 points promotion for Paean as well.

 

Same here, I got him preordered for $79.99. I have also gotten from the MP Cheetor, MB Athena, FT Dunerider and XTB Andras for cheaper than anywhere else.

I’m just waiting for them to add the Virtus PO so that I can cancel my PO with TFSource.

Back on topic, I’m really loving the way this guy looks and his vehicle mode looks on point.

 

Now we just need to let the US sellers to quit their nonsense to FT can release their stock to Chinese sellers at the same time.

 

Hi, does anyone remember if Hoist shows up on animation season 3 and 4?
As I remember he is more active on season 2. I don't see him in the movie or season 3 or 4.

I don't recall seeing Hoist in Season 3 or 4, even as an animation mistake.

 

They already have that on the UK site, surprised it's not on the Chinese site...

The G1 cartoon version looks really good. All the colours match really well. The pictures do not show an ab crunch. Did the original one have that? Is there anything that needed improving on the original that this new version might fix?

 

No, no ab crunch on this mold. It's from 2017, so that was before it was something we really got used to seeing, heh.

The notable "mechnical" improvements over the original is improved shoulder articulation, new hands (I prefer the simpler hands over the super spindly ones all the early KFC/XTB releases had, but your mileage may vary), and XTB also said this:

"-Transformation clearance improvement for a more smooth experience
-Over-tight pegs/joints improved, for better playabilities"

So whatever that ends up being.

I loved the original set, and I liked cartoon Trailbreaker even more. Looking forward to this version!

 

That price tag tho'. Ouch.

 

I know right, I bought Aegis also and was shocked and disappointed at the almost $40 markup. Bummer cause I was looking forward to the upgrade cause I always liked the mold of the original, only thing missing was the paint.

 

Yeah, seems XTB is making them charge the same as all the US sellers. They knocked $5 off with the deposit match, and you can knock another $15 off is you do their social media deal (though that's more of a rebate after the fact and it's store credit) so that brings it down to $110. Combine that with free shipping versus having to pay for shipping at US retail and it was enough of a discount to get me to switch my order to them from TCP. I like to get my figures quickly but this one was just too damned expensive for me not to want to take a deal on it.

 

I remember ShowZ recently mentioning that XTB/KFC/ibot won't let them sell it any lower unfortunately. ShowZ said USA sellers like TFSource have told XTB that they don't want them allowing Chinese sellers to continue selling at lower prices and undercutting them.

 

I would refuse to buy anything from TFSource over this if I didn't already refuse to buy anything from them over their credit card snafus.

 

I can’t like this post enough.

Also, and I’m scratching my head here - who gives a flying f*** about TFSource, and what’d they say anyways? Surely XTB can offload their products to a much bigger store such as BBTS and the metric shitton of smaller guys?
