Yes. As a fan of autobot x and the episode (which is my favorite), i always pictured him as being slightly bigger then optimus

 

Also i wish hasbro would give this an official figure. But he isnt as popular so even if they did, it wouldnt be as awesome as i would want him to be.

Very useful seeing him next to a bunch of characters with no MP figures to judge size with.

I assume he was scaled to Smokescreen who is also too small on the chart like all the Autobot cars.

 

AutobotX also nearly as tall as Optimus. That seems like what folks were looking for.
And the rest of Elita's team seems about as tall as Ironhide. Just like when Chromia gives Ironhide a hug. I'm probably not bothered with Elita being either Ironhide or Optimus height although my poor recollection would likely allow her to be shorter (but maybe I'm just being sexist assuming the female is 20% to 25% shorter than her man).
Devcon is Autobot car height. No issues with me there although many fans want all the Autobot cars to be taller. Of course I've also then heard that Seekers need to be taller if the cars get taller and Megatron and Optimus should also be taller at which point I stop paying attention.

Edit: Other appearance of Elita have her coming to Optimus' shoulder. The carbots are also shown coming up to Prime's elbow so maybe 1 head taller. But kinda late to start making all the MP carbots taller based off the as-animated appearances versus the old scale charts.

I've never heard anyone wanting to increase the size of Seekers or Optimus/Megatron in reaction to larger Autobot Cars. The problem with the cars isn't their actual height, it is their relative height compared to the Seekers/Leaders. Increasing the height of the Seekers/Leaders negates the gains of increasing the size of the carbots. I can't say they look good on the shelf, they have always felt like they were minibots next to Optimus to me. Yeah they are too big to actually be considered minibot size, but that is just the feeling I get every time I see any MP car next to Optimus. Nearly a decade since the first MP car and it hasn't softened at all. I for one would gladly replace each and every car if we finally got ones that looked good next to Optimus on the shelf.

My biggest problem with Elita on that chart isn't her height, but the fact she is clearly blown up like an overinflated balloon. I know she has a large helmet, but it isn't more than double the size of Optimus' head.

 

Scale charts exist as a reference because even live action isn’t honest. Long live the apple crate.

 

The problem with comparing Elita-1 and Op here is the fact that they are drawn in OPPOSITE Forced Perspective.
Optimus is drawn from a human's perspective, looking UP at him, which is why his feet are so massive, yet his head is so tiny.
Oddly enough, Elita-1 is drawn almost looking down on her, as if a human were on scaffolding, and at almost eye level...
Making her head unGodly Koolaid Man-like, and her feet wearing size 10, ladies boots.

Yeah, "roughly" the size of Optimus is a good, general statement. Also notably is Autobot-X's girth, as the parts aren't 1:1 as to how they're assembled on him.
