I think i've hit my limit lol. I love what XTB has been up to lately and I like Frankenstein but $130 for it is too much. LED eyes don't warrant the extra cost either. I hope they make too many so I can pick one up on sale later.

Why do they insist upon doing dumb things with simple figures?

We could produce the figure at $45 bucks if we just make a good action figure... or inflate the price by tacking on gimmicks no one really wants for something that will spend its life on a shelf.

130?! That is alot. But i am still REALLY tempted. autobot x is like my favorite g1 charactor. I REALLY wish he came back in a second episode. If he is that expence i hope he has so many extra gizmos and parts that you can almost build a second figure.

 

Preorder is up on bigbadtoystore.com. part of me wants to preoder now, but another wants to wait to see if it drops. I mean he is probably not a super popular character that they will sell out. Might even go on sale. What do you guys think? Also i have never bought masterpiece before, is this in that price range?

I don't understand why anyone would get this one when the Blue Lobster one accomplishes the purpose. Maybe it will have a bit more articulation I suppose, but that's it.

I do have him. But he is basically a brick. I personally like to fiddle with my transformers and other figures.

That is the reason. Articulation is nice. Plus the blue lobster one is basically a statue and doesnt even have an interesting pose. I love him though since he is like the only figure of autobot x.

 

Yup! I'd love to see this guy look like he is actual random parts stuck together over a cleaned up toon version despite the character being a toon original.

Articulation is important when you're a transformer character that doesn't transform. Plus the Blue Lobster figure looks like a PVC shampoo bottle.

 

I swear, transformers collectors always want something for nothing smh. I think the price is fair, preordered.
