I'd like to agree! Normally I would. But I think the fastback Fiero looks soooo much cooler than the regular notchback I can just about live with this slight retcon! Also helps that this is such a D-list character to me that his original alt mode just wasn't firmly established in my mind - I had to search out some pics of the G1 toy to remind myself what I was supposed to be seeing before making my judgement on XTB's execution. Your mileage may vary.

Yeah yikes!! Doesn't look as bad as Fuzz but certainly very thin! Does seem to have more thickness in the front/back direction, and thicker when viewed from one side than the other - almost as if the connecting part has a triangular blade-like cross section. As pathetic as Fuzz's shoulders look, mine are holding out fine, so if these are at least as tight should be OK! At least they are well positioned and not slightly too low like Fuzz's.

XTB is doing great building hype with these renders, and they’re all fairly simple looking carbots so hopefully they can nail these and get on a another good QC run.

I've never seen a Fiero that had extended back seat windows, because I've only seen tiny 2 seaters. I didn't know they made another version.

Are those longer windows outside the car on both sides with no back seat?

    Calm down there Pharma.

Going to get both versions to go with the rest of my Punch/Counterpunchs. Bonus, I'll be able to set the two of them up pointing at each other.

I am getting two American ones for sure for each faction, but anyone thinking of getting an American one and Japanese one to switch it up?

Instead of James and Bond, they could have named them Shaken and Not-Stirred

I'm not a fan of the tailfin, or that they are making two versions just with different heads. Seems like they could just include the extra head? That's par for the course for all the other 3P's anymore if there are multiple head options. Todd McFarlane is the only toymaker doing different releases for different heads on the same figure.

I'm surprised they didn't do a face swap thing vs. 2 versions as well.

Yep, pre ordered. I normally don't do post S2, but this is just great!

It isn't just the heads though. Take a look again, there are differences in the body mold/deco.

Yeah it kind of amazes me how these sorts of things don't jump out for some people.

Well we can see what the joint looks like on the other side:

Exactly. Doesn't bode well for my interest as, it could look quite ugly in hand to have such weak looking shoulder joints, not to even mention the likelihood for breakage. Fingers crossed I guess.

Thin vertically, but looks to extend most of the thickness of his torso front to back. So I think way more substantial than Fuzz, and scary as his shoulder connection looks, I've heard nobody complain it breaks, or is even floppy. So this will probably be fine. I hope.
