Funny enough, Thundercats was one of the few shows that was actually plot driven, especially in its second season. The show actually had an ending, but yeah, out of the first season's 65 episode run, only about 15 of them are plot related.

OMG, I feel validated with all the Thundercats comments. It's such a cool show with so much mythology and interesting plots but is also such a huge snorefest. I also have to pace myself watching that show.

Yeah, it’s one of those ones- I like the concept and the lore and all that. I even have a few favorite episodes. But man, it is a slow-paced show.

The 2011 reboot takes all the lore & good bits & works wonders with it, though. Really enjoy that version.

It KILLS me that TC2011 didn't get further along. Stellar world-building and writing, and the CAST?! Freakin' MATT MERCER as Tygra, and they'd just introduced Michael McKean as Vultureman! What a failure of marketing.

It is, my guess is some in between story showing us something happening alongside this even. Or from a character’s perspective.

Given the episode titles, I'm assuming a character will be on the brink of death by the end of part 1 and the episode in between is some sort of flashback story.

Could be like Lifedeath in the original UXM.
    Part I was #186
Part II was later in #198

If it's like the comics, that will probably be Storm losing her powers and going mohawk.

...So assuming season 2 of X-97 will be 10 episodes as well this will bring X-Men 92s total episode count to 96.

The animation looks wonky, the art style is still more CGI looking than hand drawn, and the writing is just... "NOT!" I mean, whoever wrote that line was probably patting themselves on the back all day. At this point I'll be disappointed if they don't say "making copies" at some point. I mean, there's some effort going into it. They made more of an effort than Kevin Smith's team. But it's still falling short.

All of that is subjective opinion, not objective fact. I don't think there's anything wrong with the animation we've seen or what little of the writing we've seen either. The original show wasn't really a polished gem when it came to animation or writing either.

It is to me. So far.
I always like to see the finished product, of course, but the trailers have me looking forward to it.
