So of course going to a comic con requires comic books. And boy did I get comic books. But first the fun part, the autographs!

    - Oscar poster signed by Alex Ross
    - Ghost Rider print by Greg Land
    - Justice 1 signed by Ross, Brathenwait, and Krueger
    - Countdown signed by Ross (I didn't get Lee, dammit!)
    - Superman/Batman 13, Teen Titans 1, and Fathom 1 signed by Turner (funny story)
    - Battle Pope 1 by Kirkman
    - Iron man 1 signed by Adi Granov
    - Iron Man DRAWING by granov to make ArmadaJetfire jealous
    - Iron Man 73 by John Jackson Miller (already had Adi sign last year)
    - Gravity 1 by McKeever and Norton
    - Gravity sketch by Norton
    - Electra 1 by Greg Land
    - Avengers 1 and HoM 1 by Bendis
    - Thor 88 and powers 1 by Omening
    - OMAC 1 by Rucka
    - Iron Man battlebook by Billy Tucci
    - Superman 203 by Azarello (not shown)
    - GIJoe frontline 17 by Paul Jenkins
    - Hulk Destruction poster by jenkins (not shown)

So good haul. And the Turner autographs I accidentally got in 5 minutes. Turner is a real stickler for signing times. he even leaves early sometimes. So he started signing at noon on saturday. I managed to be walking by the booth at like 11:50 and he was already there signing. There were 4 people in line. I asked the girl at the end if this was the end of the Turner line and she said yes. So Istood there for 5 minutes and got them signed. Then I walked over to his agent who was by Turner's art. Now as much as I would have liked to spend 1700 on a page, I'd rather put it toward something useful, like a house. So anyway, he tells me the line was actually started at 10am and was like 600 people long. OOPS! But actually he didn't care because it wasn't my fault. There should have been someone watching the line and moving people from the side of the convention center where the line actually was. heh.

    Now the comics I bought.

    Ebay:
I demand a close up of the Granov Iron Man sketch, and information about the Iron Man battlebook.

And I'm hurt...you didn't think I'd be jealous about the sketch, too? :cry

No, I never had Darkhawk 1-25. I did have issue 25 though.

Will do. And yes, I knew you'd be jealous but I couldn't remember how to spell your name when I was typing this. :(

As for the battlebook, it's damn old. years ago, maybe 10ish, Marvel put out a series called battlebooks. It was around the time of Overpower at it's peak. The concept was similar to RPGs where each person had a book and played the character battle according to the pages. There were also a few indy ones I never actually played but got Iron Man for the images. I think I have one of Whichblade as well. Good idea, bad execution, never took off.

And Boardwise, you love me. :D

    Blasphemy! Heathen!

The 1st 25 issues, Manley and Fingeroth....just, classic, awesome. Enjoy reading it man, and lemme know what you think. Darkhawk's one of my favorite characters ever.

Oh I will. I eagerly look forward to reading the Evilhawk saga. To bad they screwed up the character in Runaways.

And for my fellow Iron man fans,
