I just saw a Shockwave tonight. Is he going for a pretty penny on eBay or something? Maybe I should start scalping...

 

Then I would have to disown you. At the very least, pick it up and sell it to a fellow fan that can't find it for a small finder's fee. Making money at fellow fans' expense = lame.

 

Scalp it. Tough economy.

There's a difference between traveling over 1000 miles and getting a set of super rare exclusives for your troubles than going down to Target and buying something that you know someone is looking for for the sole reason of making money off that person. I guess not everyone has the same mindset though, so it's up to you. I think it's pretty crappy that someone may go to that store later looking for that toy and can't find it. Just remember all the people from the first movie line that would go to Walmart every night and buy up all the deluxe Bumblebees and sell them for $30 a piece. Same thing, smaller scale. People are having a hard time finding Shcokwave because of crappy distribution, and because everyone knows it, now its even harder because the few that are being found are being bought by scalpers.

Just my opinion, but there are many out there. Take it for what it's worth.

 

Relax guys, I was kidding. I've never been a scalper. I was joking. I was accused of being a scalper once, but I had bought the deluxes at Kohl's ( higher retail ) and needed to get that back plus the paypal fees and shipping. Since I wanted more than $10 shipped, I was a scalper.

Hmm, I thought interspersing bits of fantasy randomly with real life was much cooler. Keep you on your toes in a Matrixy sort of way.

 

Some inside jokes fade away into obscurity. But some evolve into legend, into tales told to grandchildren, into life-changing memes.


This is the latter.
