I liked they actually had some ideas with JP93's gun. Three storage points, and none of them use 5mm pegs.
The Alienator was the first lego set I remember getting as a kid. Blacktron was also when I first learned what "discontinued" meant, and I'm still bummed about it.
Oh man, I loved that Blacktron kit when I was a kid. I love all of those post-Classic space themes, and I especially have an affinity for Blacktron I's aesthetic and those amazing minifigs. This was the only full Blacktron kit I ever had, but every few years I seriously consider doing a deep dive into eBay and/or Bricklinks for some of the others.
Great episode! I liked the listener question about pairing bots together. I thought it would be funny if Omega Supreme and Countdown were paired up (like the Siege toys) but where Countdown is just a rocket-blasting-off obsessed robot who's always running around inside of Omega Supreme demanding to go flying. Maybe it makes Omega go nuts, maybe it forces him to be calm. Maybe the constant chatter forces him to loose his concentration and it's why he speaks in such short phrases.
Cripes, I don't even remember what was going through my head when I typed that question out. I think there was something that worked in my head but came out like mental diarrhea. For some reason, I kinda always felt like Tracks and Bluestreak might be buds. I think I had a reason before, but I don't remember now. I also love Vangelus's idea of a pyromaniac and his buddy who follows him cleaning up his messes.
