I'm not fully digging the TLK line either, but there's a couple that I want; Steelbane, Voyager Optimus, Voyager Megatron, Voyager Scorn, and maybe Voyager Hound. I like Drift being red and black too, but I want to see if the Takara one looks any different/better, because from what's shown, not many seem to be.

 

WRONG SURE!!! Crosshairs is at the very least an extensive retool, maybe even a new mold. Drift is also an extensive retool at the very least, as his transformation is reversed (front of car=feet, back of car=backpack/chest), and he has an entirely different alt. Mode.

At this point the only repaints from AOE are 4 dinobots, leader class Optimus prime, and the first deluxe bumblebee that's coming out.

 

Also you guys are complaining about the Gen II Pokemon "just being a face"... what do you think VOLTORB AND ELECTRODE ARE

 

I'm honestly kinda triggered on the G2 hate in Pokémon Go.

Ok, but knowing that doesn't make them better or excuse the poor paint. Plus the fact that these are new molds that are no better than the original AOE toys actually makes them look even cheaper on Hasbro's part and makes this Premier line look a whole lot worse as a result.

 

Say what you want about drift, but crosshairs looks amazing compared to his original figure, besides the fact that he actually looks like a corvette in alt. Mode, he also includes BOTH machine guns, and appears to be taller and more lithe than his previous figure. A nice coat of Takara paint and crosshairs will be almost perfect.

Instead of Quickswitch, why didn't they make it Greatshot? Who IS ACTUALLY a repaint of Sixshot. Where Quickswitch was originally a different mold.

 

I would think Takara would do it at some point. I am really happy with my MMC Sixshot and FP Quickswitch so Greatshot is how I'd like to own this mold.

I feel Vangelus on Scorn. At the moment my movie 5 figures look to be leader Megatron, Voyager Scorn and maybe deluxe Barricade?

 

yeah i think im leaning the same way on those guys. Though i do want to see an actual comparison between the voyager Megs and the leader is only because the leader is like $30 more. if the voyager is good enough then i'm gonna pass on the leader.

Ive also got my eyes set on that voyager Hound. I never got the original one because it wasn't accurate enough for me, but the new one is hitting all the right spots.

 

Did you catch after recording that the clones are their own size category, more akin to the old scout size and the other two will be in box sets too.
