Wow, I didn't really realize before that the whole wtf@tfw squad was a bunch of trukk not munky beast haters. "I'm fine with beast mode Transformers; as long as they're not in the same room as me." - Chris "Internet Personality" Vangelus. Joking aside, I don't get people complaining about the lack of Beasts. We've been getting them pretty consistently in both collector and main lines for years now. Although I wouldn't mind seeing a show/comic where the ratios are reversed. Where the majority of the core cast have beast modes.(Rescue Bots technically fits that, I guess.) I also wouldn't mind if some of the more underrated Beast Wars/Machine characters got some updates. Bots like Airazor(as an actual bird), Razorbeast, Torca, Battle Unicorn, etc. Cheetor is great, but there have been a lot of Cheetor toys.
Great show as always y'all! I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing some pics of your Sweeps in "Heavy/Interceptor" modes, Chris...or Vangelus...or...um...Underwear Wallet man...
Hey Vangulus and the gang, I have questions inspired by a recent experience. I have recently picked up a Planet X Triton and was not happy with him, not because I was disappointed on Neptune (so much I sat out their Slag and Snarl until after Vulcan called me back) or that they didn\'t attempt use the retool to refine really improve those parts (unfortunate, but that\'s a gift not a given). No; what pissed me off was a lot of the tooling either brought in new faults or magnified ones he inherited. Bear in mind this was post Vulcan, which proved Planet X does know how to make some great toy. Thus I did with Triton what I did with Neptune, set him aside and gave his thruster cannons to a more deserving dinobot. I was prepared to declare Planet X were bad people and ignore them for another good long time. Good thing my box also included their Perceptor, who cleared Planet X of all crimes. Anyhoo the questions; have you ever gotten something that turned you off so hard you rejected a toyline/company\'s futher entries out of hand? And also how important is it to you to keep a toy married to it\'s non-integral accessories? Are they attached to the hip, so to speak, or part of an open source arsenal? That said, do third party weapons like from renderform or Corbot V go directly to their implied character, float around until you find someone they work with, or remain freely open to whoever they work for?
