I had no idea that Bruticus kit had developed to the point of combining into a trailer! Gotta keep my eye on that one.

Yeah he's done some really cool stuff. I just wish it helped Onslaughts' vehicle mode more.

    Question about TFW 243

Just finish listening to the show, thanks for the entertainment.

    I have a quick question.
Did someone say they got the "LEGO Quinjet Aerial Battle 6869" for just $20?!?

Can someone let me know where I can get it for that price? Which retail store? Target, Walmart, Amazon, or?

    Thanks for your help!

    Cheers!

I agree. An oversized camera is no more out of place than an oversized tape deck.

A for the "two big, two small" MP discussion, it has to be about molds. We're already getting three small in the Fairlady triplets. I also wonder if the tapes factor into that?

On a side note, wouldn't a beardcast be about women married to gay men?

As Jarl noted on page 2, they call it 1 inch scale because 1 inch represents 1 foot.

This concept goes back to a world none of us understands, a world without pocket calculators and computers. I'm sure everyone's been in an art supply store and seen the rulers that have a triangular cross section and are a foot long? They are called "scales". Specifically an "architect's scale" has inches on it and an "engineer's scale" is metric. Here's a link to an image of an architect's scale.

The trick of it is that if you look at the 3/8" equals 1' scale across the bottom, the lines left to right are 3/8" apart. So if you draw a line starting at the 0 mark on the left and stopping at the 8 mark, you'll have drawn a line that represents a 8 foot long line in 3/8" scale. The line is actually 8 times 3/8" long, or 3 inches. But if you then label the drawing as 3/8" scale, someone else with an architect's scale can measure it with the 3/8" scale and find its 8 feet long.

Without a architect's scale you would measure it as 3" long and convert it with math by hand. That's a lot harder than measuring it with the specialized tool. Especially if you have to do it for hundreds of lines on a building floor plan.

So anyway, its a very common thing to refer to scale as 3/8" scale or 1/2" scale to mean 1/2" equals 1' for technical drawings and hobby stuff. My boy scout leader when I was very young was into a hobby where he was scratch building 1" scale working steam locomotives. Here's a wiki page on how that turns out and some notes on scale terminology.

Great show guys, always nice to have guests pop in & I enjoy listening to Deefuzz on that other podcast, so it was nice to hear him on tfw.
I also really enjoyed the intermission, I'd forgotten about that piece of music from Ocean's 12 where Toulour, aka the Nightfox is getting through the laser eye security system. Sadly, this track doesn't appear to be on the soundtrack. Please tell me where you got it so I can buy or download it.
Thanks and keep doing what you do!

I restarted another play through of Saints Row the Third, so the Intermission really pleased me and also reminded me that Vangelus is in the game!

So, for the longest time I'd really wanted to find some props and furniture to supplement my growing figma collection. Man, Seth... you have sent me tumbling down the deepest of rabbit holes, kind sir.
