I probably should have used the word "official" instead of "canon".
Even if I think those two words are synonymous when it comes to Transformers.

.. I should probably stop typing before I get even more off topic.

I'm from a lil country in South East Asia. I had a passport when I had to go to Indonesia (and passed through Singapore) a couple years back, but since then, it's been of no significance to me. Probably expired by now, if I can even find it.

As for a flagship character, aside from "girly" shows like She-Ra (which is in the 25 years old range), and aside from anime stuff (of which there are loads of them), offhand... the only new flagship character I can think of is the upcoming Airbender sequel, where the main character is Aang's granddaughter.

Also, stuff like Power Puff Girls and Kim Possible. Cyber Six as well perhaps. But all these are kinda old.

But yeah, for a modern, vaguely male oriented kids line, the upcoming Airbender sequel series.

I must say. Vangelus did a spot-on impression of GogDog. I thought Gog shanghaied the podcast there for a second.

    B-BUT IT'S ON THE WIKI.

It's called the legend of Korra and she's the Avatar after Aang died, she's not descended from Aang but she will learn airbending from Aang's son.

As far as female transformers that have major screen time, Beast wars/Beast machines Blackarachnia. to begin with there was the implication there with her being the first female character being introduced before Airrazor being introduced but come the end of season 2 on through beast machines she became a more important cast member and though not the flagship character she was a part of the core cast and quite often got more screen time than Rattrap during Beast machines.

Some thoughts for the Flagship character thing- as I was listening I was thinking about ST: Voyager. Yeah, not the best Trek series, but it did run a good 7 seasons, tying with TNG and DS9. Also, two other shows came to mind- Buffy and Xena. Pretty sure they had female flagship characters, and their demographic isn't too far off from Transformers'.

Anyone got a link for the seller that has the cheap lithographs that they talked about? They said they'd post a link but I don't see any.

OMG, thank you Vangelus for mentioning Scrounge!!!
    Scrounge (G1) - Transformers Wiki
For a long time I was looking for that character, because like 12-14 years ago I had a comic with a Transformer Spy that could transform into a wheel. I couldn't forget the story because it was the first time I saw such a brutal Transformers Comic in which Scrounge died in a smelting pool.
But now looking into the wiki at the Marvel issue #17, I realised that the one I had back then was in a more modern artstyle?! (Scrounge looked more like a hollow ring)

Does somebody know if there was a publisher reimagining some comics in the 90's?

    Great episode.

I really like the name Skrunk..... He's like Scrounge's misfit brother.

Yay two irish people in the thread :bay

Its pretty obvious why people dont have Passports, some people prefer to stay where they are and dont like travelling.

See, that's just so ludicrous to me, for the large number of us in our 20s and 30s. It's much better for one's mental health to gtfo and breathe foreign air of some kind. D:
