I got a WST Springer. Actually it is called Nanoscale Spring in japanese. I saw this at last year's botcon. One of the japanese dealers had entered wst springer and wst goldbug into the art contest. He had three springers, one in each mode. And now I finally got one. This kit is amazing!!!! the amount of detail in such a small and tiny kit is astounding. The kit did have a few bubbles but nothing detrimental. I had to drill some of the holes for the pins but there were indentations. The only holes that made me anxious, were the ones for the helicopter blades. The holes are 1mm in diammeter. The creator even hand-drew the instructions!!! real dedication. I plan to get some brush on chrome and detail some parts like the G1 toy, also I need to paint the skyblue for the cockpit. I prefer the transformation of Nanoscale Spring than the G1. I love how the shoulders rotate forward in bot mode.
Awesome stuff; is this the same guy who did the WST Magnus armor? BTW - You're right, the shoulder rotation is a great addition.
yes, it is. He made the Ultra Magnus armor, the Arcee, Goldbug, Wheelie, Stepper w/targetmaster, and years ago, sixshot. I wish I had the Sixshot (only one I'm missing) but I could buy a 4-wheeler for less than it.
I might be able to help you with that sixshot. Im waiting for my Ultramagnus and the even cooler powered convoy version!!!
Actually, mine was already assembled and fully painted. Same for all of them. Notice the extra details (including her eyes) and belly sticker on the Arcee, for example. Not the best picture, Springer's eyes are such a light blue this shot washed them nearly all the way out. It was a quickie shot last summer when I was unable to take pictures with my setup.
Hmm I was thinking of some yellow accents. I dont know If i wanna paint the front of the fenders yellow like yours are. I did really enjoy making these kits though. So much fun.
