Someone can correct me if I'm wrong (I was once... ) but these are not the WST's you're looking for. These "mini-seekers" are scaled down G1 seekers, but about half their original size, not World's Smallest size. Think they have die-cast parts, like the originals, and there were various clear plastic versions too.

There were, however, official Smallest series seekers, done by Takara. No doubt an ebay search would turn up a few. There are knock-off ones out there as well (clear ones, colour variants etc), don't know who by tho.

Hope that helps.. no doubt others here have any and all of the above mentioned toys.

    Ebay:
^This. Heerotoymaker on eBay has a few WST sized seekers available constantly. i have ThunderCracker and Skywarp from him and i am happy with them. i bought them just wanting a couple really inexpensive seekers to display with my Metroplex and was pleased. something i haven't done with them is display them with Fortress Maximus in city mode- gotta do that when i have some space.

This is the kingtoys scaled down set, these are bigger than wst toys, I got all of them from a member here on the boards for cheap.

So I should avoid this set then? Are all these same seekers available in WST form?
I'm only interested in 8 out of that 12-pack. Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Thrust, Dirge, Ramjet, Sunstorm, and Starscreams Ghost.
Which ones have WST Takara made and which ones are not?

Is this set worth getting at all? Even if bigger than WST?

Just had a search through Ebay and the only two seeker jets I see that are official Takara WST ones is Thrust, and Skywarp. Thrust is reasonably priced and his price varies, and Skywarp is very expensive. Almost $200 for Skywarp? Really?

the set is nice yes and i sold a few to some board members, like others mention it is not the same mold as WST Starscream or Skywarp. It is literally the G1 mold scaled down. I never had a problem transforming them or pieces breaking, launchers work really nice as well. I think they fit in ok with others, only thing is the stickers suck! they will tear and you will be lucky to get any off the sheet. I use to display mine with out the stickers.

The ones you are talking about are made by heero on ebay. I actually have Ghost Starscream, Clear Skywarp and Thundercracker, and black starscream for sale. they are excellent quality.

Soooooo, they sound nice. But what size exactly are they? Are they about the same hight as the Insecticons? Sounds like their between original G1 sizes, and official WST sizes.
A comparison picture would be nice if anybody has them.
As for getting the entire seeker fleet, it look's like a great package deal. I'm wondering if these will display nicely amongst the other WST figures I've got.

The KingToys versions are nice (save the sticker issues) but I don't think they scale well with the WSTs. Heero has done WSC scale KOs of all the Seekers except 'regular' Thrust & Starscream to my knowledge, he has done color variations on Thrust & SS though. His mold is almost identical to the official versions, but arguably his mold is a bit better actually; most notably the way his tail fins attach is much better than the Takara version. The biggest drawback to his is that though he uses a good quality plastic they just don't 'feel' official (if that makes any since).

Here's a link to a video I just shot of my Seeker collection, it has almost all of Heero's Seekers in it (except the gold ones, Acid Storm & Anime Starscream) as well as all 12 of the KingToys versions. Don't mind the dust LOL

    Hope this helps :D

EDIT: also if you check the links in the post that Cobra Zartan posted there are links to most of the KingToys Seekers with pics of them next to their full sized and WST versions for comparison.

Nice little army you've got there.
Still wondering if these are worth my next week's budget. It's so hard to decide when there's so much shit you want and your so limited to $300 bucks at a time. LOL! Man, I seriously need to hit the PowerBall.

At one point you could get the whole set of 12 pretty cheap on amazon, although it wasn't under the name WST if I remember right

heerotoysmaker items - Get great deals on Toys Hobbies items on eBay.com!
Only thing is he does not combine shipping but everything works out to pretty much even in the end.. His figures are AWESOME , he even makes WST G2 Starscream and Ramjet. I have all of them so far and have not been let down. He even makes an AWESOME battle stand for the WST Prime trailer. All his figures are top notch and made with high quality plastics

Here are some pics of mine.

For 300 you should be able to pick up the KingToys version AND the WSTs. The KingToys versions can be had for about 100 shipped through iOffer or eBay. The Takara Thrust & SS usually run about 10 each and Heero periodically lists all of his on eBay in sets of 2-3 for about 10-12 shipped, just take your time with em and you can get em all for a decent price. The only ones I haven't seen Heero list in a long time are the gold and chrome sets. Heero also does a regular Skywarp if you don't wanna shell out for the 'rare chase' Takara one. :D

Thank you found a few on ebay that I'm bidding on right now. Keeping it very low priced. I've actually just seen the gold and chromed ones earlier tonight. Watching them, but not sure I'm interested in them.
Found Ghost Scream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Dirge, Ramjet, and Sunstorm. Still looking for Thrust and regular Scream.
