Considering getting a set of WST Dinobots.
I never owned any of the original G1 toys.
Getting all five WST for the price of one G1 seems like a no-brainer.
    Would you guys recommend them?
Is there anything I should be looking out for?
Do they display well with G1 Devastator?

I never owned g1 devastator. But I did own wst dinobots. The quality is nice but some have small pieces you can lose. You also get a blue chest swoop unlike the g1 red. Together they look amazing. If you collect wst they are a great buy but if you buy just g1 they are to small.

If you're into WSTs, then absolutely they are worth it. I've the entire set and in many ways they are better than the original G1 figures, although you'll have to buy the reprolabels for them, the decals that come with them are shite.

Just so you know, this thread may get moved to the 3rd party forum, as they were not official product. They were made by Justitoys, and are awesome. They scale well with G1 citybots, and OK with G1 Devastator. (If you can find the undersized Knock-off , the scale is MUCH better.)

the only thing that I can think of to look out for(depending on where you live, & are buying them online from a diff country) is customs & delivery charges, coz I take it that they come in a box & not stuck to the front of a card.

Short answer: yes. They're awesome little figures and make a great desktop set to fiddle around with.

As an owner of all of them I say ABSOLUTELY.

    Great versions of iconic figures.

    You WILL NOT be disappointed.

Thanks for all your replies, guys!
I now know what I'd like to find under my tree this Christmas. :D

I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could post a pic or two of any of the Dinobots with cyberverse Wheeljack and G1 Devastator. I really wanna see how they look together.

I have pretty much the same set up! :D

My Devy is a mix of the XT and JBS kits though.

The WST Dinos are awesome and well worth picking up if you can fit them into your collection.

Plus WST, G1 and MP Grimlock look awesome together in alt mode

I got mine in one lot MISB from eBay. I think it worked out about GBP 10 each after shipping.

The ones I really wanted were the comic book coloured variants but they were fewer in number and much more expensive.

There's also some G2 deco ones (G2 Grimlock as "Santa Commander" and he came with a little santa hat), if that floats your boat.

I've only got a few, but by far the best one I own is Grimlock. He's very solid and awesome to tinker with.

Careful of the KOs that exist. I (knowingly) got KO Grimlock and Slag but after looking at reviews of the real things and some comparison pictures, I should've held out for the real things. But even still, they are great! Wish I had the rest.
