    Ok, first I have been trying to get caught up on all these Transformer series. Is the Optimus Primal repaint Apeling and Sentinel Maximus's mini-con Apeling the same bot?

    Far as I know, yeah. I couldn't be entirely sure, as I haven't seen that much about the Minicon version, but since his only appearance is in the Botcon material, I doubt they'd have come up with two entirely separate characters with the same name.

    And it's Apelinq, with a Q.

    Sentinel Prime is actually the fusion of Botcon Apelinq and Primal Prime. The mini-con that comes with Sentinel Prime is actually called Hyperlinq.

    he was going to be called Hyperlinq, but he was made Apelinq.

    i love both names.
