Take a look at the earlier drawing of Vector Prime. Why didn't we get that figure?

Shows how much a color scheme and the swords can do for a figure, as well as the larger "wings". Honestly, I would love a dark remold of Vector Prime (Sigma Prime!), if it's done like that.

The concept spaceship modes look pretty cool as well, especially the 4 winged one. (Which does look a bit like Noisemaze.)

Additionally, the concept jet mode for Mega/Galvatron looks a lot nicer than the mode we got, IMHO.

I actually like the one we've got. There's a regal look to him.

Yeah I totally agree. Though a 'dark' repaint of it would look sweet...maybe I'll break down and get the TRU VP/SS 2 pack and do it myself...

I'm with those who are happy enough with the one we got. I wouldn't mind a sweet looking repaint though.

    Those concepts are great.

I do dig Vector Prime's alt. mode.

Pity that scion POS thing is in the way.....

Anyway, I agree on the regal look, it's quite fitting to get what we did, and as for spaceship mode, he is supposed to be an ANCIENT cybertronian space craft, so the sleek look would be out.

But that one with the twin swords and sleek mode would be perfect for a "younger brother" to vector prime for sure. But also, just how that darker pictured one is there as it is, almost could pass for a shockwave that has a left arm instead of a blaster. :)  Photochop in two big ears and a single yellow eye, and I think it would look the goods for sure.

Don't get me wrong, I love the VP figure that GF got, which I did get. It's just that I really, really dig the darker color scheme and the 2 swords idea, and think that would've come off far better.

I could easily forgive Hasbro for not making the deluxe (or whatever it's called) version of Starscream as Skywarp if we got a slight remold (2 swords; remold adjusted nosepiece) and the darker color scheme of VP, even sans electronics.
